Tables next to the booth to sit enjoy your donuts. Plenty of coffee locations close by if you want something to go with it. Very fast friendly service.

These are SOOOO good ! I got 1 box , half glaze and half chocolate. They were even amazing heated up! They remind me of donuts and funnel cake mixed. They are made to order so they are hot and I would get them everyday if I lived in Denver lol

As a kid, my Puerto Rican grandmother would grace my cousins and I with her homemade donuts. Always fried golden brown and sprinkled with sugar. We failed to get the recipe to recreate the memory. It doesn't matter now because there's Lil D, a 16th Street Mall kiosk flipping mini grandma-good mini donuts and topping them with Nutella, cinnamon sugar, sprinkles... Also on the beach kiosk inspired menu are guava-filled puff pastry (pastelillos de guayaba - call to preorder), pizza "empanadillas,", the refreshing Coco Rico coconut soda, and a light and aromatic soursop (guanábana) ice cold nectar. A must stop for Puerto Rican tourists in Denver.

I mean, yes, there is Voodoo Doughnuts and other good sweet-tooth places, but they are not made fresh to order like Lil D's Mini Donuts is! Lil' D offers small donuts. Let's be honest, smaller means you can have a lot more, right? I am so happy this small stall was located right by my hotel. Lil D' is located in a reasonable location on 16th Street. They make delicious, warm, fresh made donuts and you can jazz them up however you please. They have tons of topping options such as Caramel, Cinnamon, Cream Cheese, Vanilla, and many more. My favorites were the Caramel and the Vanilla; oh so delicious! They also have donuts in the cup, which seemed like too many sweets for me, but it's great if you plan to share. My favorite part of the experience is that they make the donuts freshly made in front of you. YES! I get my donuts nice and warm and don't have to worry about how long they were sitting out. Although Lil D's is known for their mini donuts, they also serve other items at their stands such as the Pizza Empanada and beverages. I didn't get a chance to try any of those, but everything here looks great! If you have a major sweet tooth, this is definitely a place I would venture out and try; skip Krispy Kreme and just come here. Lil D's is such a wonderful addition to 16th Street. PLUS, customer service is phenomenal. Do yourself the favor and check out this stand!
