Brand new restaurant in this area and it’s great!
It’s a must try!

embarrassingly bad. the food is mediocre at very best, but the service is execrable. i ordered take out and of the five dishes we ordered . . . they left one out entirely and another (chile relleno) was hard as a rock really . . . i took it back to the restaurant along with the report that they left something out and when i went back with inedible dish they refused to give a refund even for the dish they left out. really!

The food here is great! They haven't been open that long and I've been there 3 times. The servers are friendly. And I love watching them make the tortillas.

We visited the Los Dos at the Colorado Blvd & Mexico, for a family reunion. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food was phenomenal! We loved the chips and salsa, the green chili, and the steak was cooked to perfection!!! Romo, our waiter was attentive and the management has everything running efficiently.

Do yourself a favor and visit!!!

We missed having a decent Mexican restaurant on Colorado blvd. This in the old Hacienda building. Unfortunately the Hacienda went down hill in the end and am so happy that Los Dos Portrillos opend up. We really liked the new fresh look inside the restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and vibrant. It was pretty busy on Sunday but we got a table in 10 min. The server was very nice and attentive and took our order quickly. The food came out quick and hot. The Fajitas were great and plentiful. Over all it was a nice experience with good food. Only thing I would say is that prices keep going up in all restaurants and our bill was $120 for 3 of us and this was with no alcohol.

📍 This new location was super busy which is great to see. We sat on one of the patios which allows for nice outdoor seating. It took about 50 minutes to get out food after sitting down... We just attribute it to recently opening and getting adjusted.
🌮 🌯 We did enjoy the food and had a chimichanga and enchiladas combo. The chips and salsa were good, but the beans and rice and not the best. The iced tea was freshly brewed and delicious.
🅿️ Friendly staff and free parking near Best Buy and other shopping.
I would return but most likely not during dinner rush.

Very unhappy with bartender suggesting Fortaleza as your house tequila thinking it couldn't possibly be over $15. And to our shock got charged $25 per drink. Something like that should be spoken to and not just expected!! And it wasn't even a special cocktail just with soda. Super disappointed and will also tell people the same.

Compared to the other Los dos locations this was the poorest. It’s too crowded to be comfortable when you’re shoved into tables… the cheese dip was watered down and served in a smaller bowl … the beans were watered down …. The fajitas portion was much smaller than all other locations. Unimpressed and disappointed. Will not be back to the denver location.

Our dinner experience was fantastic. The food is delicious. And the service was amazing. Oscar was very attentive, he always checked up on us to make sure we were doing ok. Food came out quick. Drinks were tasty. Overall, a very delightful experience. Can't wait to come back.

We had our first experience at Los Dos Potrillos and it was absolutely great! The food & drinks were delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The table side guac was phenomenal! What really stood out, though, was the service. Tony and Oscar B were both fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. They took great care of us and made our visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!
