Lucy is a nice space, though access and parking are difficult due to construction on Colfax. I have only had the Veggie Combo, which was excellent.

Excellent! We highly recommend the special kitfo and all of the tibs dishes. Generous portions and the some of the best Ethiopian food in the US.

The receptionist sounded very strict, then hold my order for an hour. But the food was great and enough, one plate was enough for people

We will drive across town in rush hour traffic to devour Lucy Ethiopian. It is that good. Their shiro is incredible. So many good dishes. Bring your friends and family. Introduce them to incredible food for all to enjoy.

The worst dining experience I’ve ever had.
We stopped at this restaurant for lunch, hoping for a nice break but instead we were met with rudeness from the staff. As bad as the server was, the owner’s behavior was even worse and completely unprofessional.
The owner came out and confronted someone from our group over a personal matter, right there in the middle of the restaurant. Instead of handling things privately or focusing on running the business, they chose to make a scene in front of all the customers something that was both inappropriate and embarrassing.
It was clear the owner had no idea how to separate personal feelings from professional responsibilities. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any business, let alone a place meant to serve the public. I would never return, and I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone.
Terrible Experience Would Never Recommend This was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the hostess/waitress was extremely rude and unwelcoming. We specifically asked not to be served lamb, yet she brought us lamb anyway. When we politely pointed it out, she responded with a bad attitude instead of apologizing or fixing the mistake.
What made it even worse was that the owner was present the entire time and never once came over to check on us or ask how our food or service was. But as we were leaving, she had the nerve to confront one of our guests instead of addressing the real issue her staff’s behavior and the overall poor service.
This place should not even be open. It was a huge disappointment from start to finish. I would never go back or recommend it to anyone.
Every time I come in here, I feel like my mom's in the kitchen! Very delicious and the service is always great!

AMAZING food!! Very nice atmosphere. Our server was very kind, welcoming, and friendly! This is my favorite restaurant of the ones I've tried in Denver. 11/10 would recommend!!
Great, tasty food with wonderful service.
The best Ethiopian food in Denver hands down. Whenever I crave my mom’s cooking, a taste of back home and a good quality meal I come here.
Very flavorful food. Many dishes wheat free.
The beef tibbs said $13 on the menu but is $21 please update your menu. The food was good but I didn’t expect the price.
