Albi and Johnny provide the BEST service and food every single time. I have never been disappointed at Mazevos. Much love to the staff 😘😘😘

High hopes for this place but everything just turned out to be kind of, ā€œeh.ā€ Ordered the hummus with pita and the gyro plate and everything was incredibly bland. Not bad per se, just flavorless and disappointing, especially for the price. Would recommend eating at any number of cheaper mediterranean places near by for cheaper and far better food.

Arrived here for lunch and received stunningly poor service. Food is underwhelming, if you can even get it. Expect attention only once you’ve put down your card to pay. Would highly recommend exploring one of the many another food options available on Tennyson before ever going here.

The food was delicious. I had the falafels and tabouleh and my husband got pan-seared shrimp. The flavors were wonderful! Loved the atmosphere, we ate in front by the windows, there was a plant wall that just made a really relaxing and beautiful aesthetic. The server/host were welcoming and attentive .

This place has sadly taken a turn for the worse. Food was cold, place was understaffed. What happened to mazevo!

Server took forever to take our order. Food took a long time to arrive. And it was cold when it arrived. Some of the servers n bussers seemed like they didnt speak very good english, hard to know if they understood what i was saying. Ordered extra bread, took forever to come, food was more cold by then. Wasnt worth the price imo. Shakshuka sauce flavor was solid but they really skimped on the cheese and it should have come with at least 3 slices bread. 2 slices is not enough bread for the serving, had to order more, and pay more. Chicken shawarma sandwich was wet and fell apart so had to eat the sandwich with a fork. Honestly was an annoying lunch experience. For having such high reviews I expected much better. Was cold when we entered but then its like ac got turned off at 1:45pm and it got warmer and warmer on a 101 degree day. Prob they turn it off early before they close at 2:45pm, but they shouldnt on such a hot day. Was there 1-2:15pm. Wont return.

This is not a high quality restaurant, looks like a bar, bar food and bar music, if you're going to be charging high prices step up your game, elevate your customers experience!

We DoorDash Mazevo all the time. The consistency and deliciousness of the food is truly on point! The meat is moist and the flavors are to die for! Highly recommend.

Mazevo is my favorite Mediterranean spot in Denver—on the best street, Tennyson. The staff is incredibly inviting.

The must-have here is the chicken shawarma. It’s typically served with warm pita, but if you’re celiac gf like me, you can easily sub it out for a dish of fresh, crisp vegetables instead.

Mazevo is the neighborhood gem I’ll always bring friends to

Pretty disappointed by my entire experience at this restaurant. From the subpar service to the long wait times, I was really hoping that the food would exceed my initial impression. It didn’t. There is a discrepancy between pricing and portions. Our lamb kabob, yes a singular kabob, was raw. Our chicken shawarma was dry and lacked seasoning. I really wanted to like this place, given its perfect location and my love for Mediterranean food.

Well prepared and delicious chicken kebabs!

We were OK with the slow service but when we finally got the food, my lamb chops was overcooked and my wife had a gray human in her falafel. The food server didn’t even bother to apologize.

We all felt our three dishes (chicken dishes) were on the bland side. My chicken kabob has squash and bell peppers. The plate also came with rice and a small pile of slices of raw red onion on a tiny bed of greens. I don't see myself going back.

Mazevo is located along Tennyson St among many other fantastic shops and eateries to stop in. My girlfriend and I were hungry but also wanted to have a healthier lunch while walking around. We were in luck when we happened to walk by Mazevo! First impressions were that the interior was very nice with a lot of seating and a large bar as well.

The shakshuka was very good with PLENTY of flavor. It was honestly a bit more flavor than I prefer but I like my food on the blander side so can’t complain there. Eggs were cooked very well sunny side up. The combination of the spices, runny yolk, cheese, and the French baguette were awesome. My girlfriend ordered the chicken shawarma plate and it was slightly salty but again we prefer our food on the blander side.

Service was awesome. We were checked in on frequently with waters cups always full. The server wiped down our table because some water spilled and then swapped out my baguettes with new ones because he was concerned that some dust may have gotten on them. I said it was ok but it was a nice gesture.

Last thing I’ll touch on is the pricing. The pricing is honestly not bad at all considering the generous portions and especially the location. Most places on Tennyson tend to be on the pricier side but Mazevo seems very reasonably priced.

I look forward to going back to Mazevo for a healthy, reasonably-priced meal again in the near future and recommend others to do the same!
