Don't let older reviews scare you off if you're Gluten-Free—my experience was much more positive!
As a celiac, I spoke with the kitchen about my strict gluten-free requirements, and they were very honest about cross-contamination risks. At their recommendation, I went with the Lamb Tagine, which is slow-cooked without gluten ingredients.
The table also ordered extra Dolmas and the Mazévo Platter which has gluten-free options.

All of our food was delicious. The pita bread was perfection and the labneh was so good! My son got the lamb kebab and it was one of his favorite meals from our trip. They are also fantastic at accommodating food allergies.

I want to start by saying the staff was great, very friendly and welcoming when we walked in off the street for a quick bite. Unfortunately, as soon as we entered, there was a strong odor that smelled like sewage or something similar. It was difficult to ignore, and we almost left, but we were hungry and decided to give it a chance.
We ordered one of our go to meals, gyros with fries and tzatziki sauce. The fries were actually very good, well seasoned and full of flavor. However, the gyros were disappointing. The meat was chunky instead of sliced while also bland, and the sauce lacked flavor, which is usually the highlight of the dish. Overall, the main part of the meal fell short of expectations.
The most concerning part came later, as all four of us ended up having issues in the restroom. I do not enjoy writing negative reviews, but I felt this experience was worth sharing in the hope that it helps the restaurant address these issues and improve moving forward.

I feel like this place used to be much better. I'm not sure if it's under new ownership? The food upset my stomach badly and someone else at my table found a piece of plastic in their food. Was disappointed, especially for the price. Have been a few times but not sure I'll be back after that.

Bad and slow service. Waitress seems like she's been forced by her parents to work there. Doesn't dress appropriately. Food took a long time and not impressed at all. Not returning.

Fresh, yummy, and filling! I think they did a great job with this chicken Shawarma dish in particular. Lots of onion and beautifully plated on hummus which was amazingly seasoned.

I order from Mazevo at least twice a month through Door Dash. This time the portions were smaller and even the togo containers were half the size. Very Disappointed!!
It is decorated so nicely, it’s a very pleasant and detailed atmosphere. The staff is very attentive, I think they refilled my water around four times, I like that. The cheese is very good, as is the pita, how ever I wasn’t as impressed with the shawarma, it was still ok though. The mocktails are to die for!

The restaurant seems to be a converted bar. The bar is long with tables in the front and back. Dine in was fairly sparse but to-go orders were flying out the door. The restaurant is titled Mediterranean but it leans toward Greek. The wine, beer and cocktail offerings were adequate. The star was the food. I had the chicken shwarma which was seasoned very well. The hummus was delicious. My only critique was the small pita triangles were too small to grab the chicken. My wife and daughter loved the chicken kabobs. Our server was very attentive.

My husband and I have been getting the chicken shawarma & basmati rice for takeout dinner every week for about 2 years. I look forward to the creamy hummus and perfectly flavored chicken. The rice is fluffy and the pita is divine! We normally cook most of our meals at home, but we cannot make the weekly menu without Mazevo on the list! It’s our absolute favorite and oh so delicious!!
