Mazevo Mediterranean Eatery

The service was amazingly bad. Our individual servers were lovely, but they were either sorely understaffed or badly trained. After being seated, we waited over 8 full minutes for a server to take our order. We ordered a bottle of wine along with our dishes.
Wine is supposed to be served first. It was served well after our appetizers came out, which was quite a good amount of time for a mezze platter.
Unimpressed.

Absolutely FIVE stars! We lived in Greece for a year so have enjoyed a lot of Mediterranean food. My husband said the Gyro plate was the best he’s had! Everything was excellent…from the dolmas to our mains which included the chicken kebob, lamb kebob,the chicken shawarma and Gyro. Well done, Mazevo!

We ordered the tomato crostini and baba ghanoush and it was delicious and so fresh! The service was great and I would absolutely come back to try everything else on their menu. The meals are very affordable, beautifully plated, and delicious.

The food is awesome here!! Delicious gyro and hummus plates, grape leaves, etc. I noticed recently they are doing some lunch specials if you order via DoorDash for pickup or delivery. Gyro plate was a great value for lunch at 30% off and lasted me more than 1 meal. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place! Food was absolutely stunning and delicious.
We ordered the baba ganoush with crudités, chicken shawarma, and lamb tajine. Highly recommend these dishes!

I got here at 5:40. Ordered the salmon and my girlfriend ordered the chicken. My girlfriend finally got her chicken at 6:45, I got my salmon at 6:50 and it was completely raw.

When we initially asked where our food was at 6:30, they said salmon and chicken “take longer to cook.” I’ve cooked salmon a million times, it does not take over an hour. When they finally brought it out it could not be more raw. Literally neon pink in the middle. Not medium rare, blue rare. Order online or use DoorDash, but I genuinely wasted almost two hours of my weeknight waiting for uncooked food. Ridiculous.

Mazevo catered our Christmas Party for work. Abhishek was great to work with in setting up the menu. The food was absolutely fantastic. Our whole staff loved it. Chicken kabobs had great flavor, but the Lamb Tagine was so tender and tasty. Amazing! I could go item by item, but I'll just say everything was top notch and your food made our our staff very happy. Thanks Abhishek and the whole team.

This Mediterranean restaurant is one of my favorites! We had the chicken shawarma sandwich, which came with crispy, delicious fries, ketchup, and a creamy garlic sauce. The gyro plate was also fantastic, served on creamy hummus with a side of pita for dipping. The cozy and inviting interior adds to the experience, and the service has always been excellent.

Update Nov 2024 - unfortunately management changed and so did the food quality.

The flavors lack the freshness and Mediterranean preparation. The menu definitely declined as we as the quantity of food.

I left this restaurant feeling underwhelmed and disappointed.
