This place is a little slice of Burning Man, the quiet little place you’d find off to the side

My first visit here, coming from NYC and wow I was blown away at the quality of the matcha and the butter croissant I had.
The atmosphere of was nice, cozy seats with the knick knacks decorated everywhere.
I wish there was one of these coffee shops in NYC. I recommend this place!!!

Wow! Believe the hype. Had the campfire coldbrew and the ube latte and both were excellent! The line was a bit long but hey it was a Sunday morning, what do you expect, sometimes there is a wait for excellence!

This is such a fun place to get coffee! On the weekends it brings a really fun crowd as well! It really seems like the new trendy fun place to be. The coffee isn't too overpriced and it's amazing! The coffee selection is great and you can really find any type of drink you want. The inside is decorated so fun and is much a vibe. You can go there to work or just be in a great atmosphere. Great place!

Fast and friendly service. Is small but gives a cozy vibe.
I got ube matcha (iced as the cashier) recommended and it was soo good! Its a light earthy but sweet flavor not at all overwhelming as I like! Definately will be back to try the other unique flavors they offer.

Moonflower Coffee in West Denver is one of those rare finds where every visit feels like stepping into someone’s lovingly curated dream. Nestled at 4200 West Colfax, this spot is more than just excellent coffee; it’s a whole vibe.
From the moment you walk in or onto the leafy patio, you can feel the soul: the exposed brick, the gentle natural light pouring through the garage door, the vintage furniture mixed with lush plants, all whispering “stay awhile.” It’s cozy without being precious, creative without trying too hard. Perfect for reading, working, lingering over conversation, or simply letting your thoughts drift.
The drinks here are special. If you haven’t tried the Ube Latte, do yourself a favor; it’s dreamy, colorful, balanced, and inspired by the founders’ Filipino heritage. The Lavender Sage Matcha is another gem, gentle but fragrant, with depth. Everything, from syrups to espresso shots, feels thoughtfully made. And with Servant Coffee Roasters beans, you can taste the care.
The people behind Moonflower, Sam and Jason, pour warmth into more than just their drinks. There’s a genuine sense of welcome. The staff are friendly and attentive, and you can tell the owners want it to be a gathering place, not just a pit stop. The way they’ve built out the space, honoring what was there while bringing in whimsical, vintage touches, makes this place feel like home.
Add to that the pastries from nearby bakeries, outdoor seating that invites you to soak in sun or fresh air, dog-friendly corners, and a bit of folk-art charm everywhere, and you’ve got a coffee shop that’s both rooted and dreamy.
If you’re craving something more than a rushed caffeine hit, something beautiful, grounding, and imaginative, Moonflower delivers. It’s not just about the coffee; it’s the slow moments, the understated delight in every detail, and the feeling that this place is made for you to pause.

What a comfy, cozy, creative space! Some coffee shops exchange ambiance for quality but not these guys. The decor and drinks are equally delightful.
The space is dog friendly so there were lots of furry friends sunbathing on the patio with their people. There's a mix of seating; tables, couches, bars, benches, etc. with outlets being readily available throughout.
Overall, I think this is a must-try for coffee connoisseurs in the area.

Whoever made my cortado today did a perfect job! Too many cafes don't even know what a cortado is. Plus the place has such unique drinks and an amazing space. I went here before any of the renovations were done and they did a stellar job!
