Update: While it was disappointing not enjoy our scheduled brunch, I heard from the manager shortly after posting this review. She explained there was an error and extended her sincere apologies. They had stopped brunch a month ago but there was a disconnect with reservation system. I appreciate the accountability and look forward to joining them when brunch resumes.

Showed up for our 10am brunch reservation. We waited outside for 30 minutes with many others who also said they had brunch reservations, because the door remained locked. We called and received a recording stating they are currently not doing dinner or brunch. Which is weird because I received a confirmation number at the time of booking, and received an email the day before asking me to confirm I would be there. The website has no mention they are not doing dinner or brunch. No sign on the door or any type of notification. Very disappointing especially because we waited four weeks for this reservation.

They should offer more variety of beer instead of the local craft beer options on the menu. I don't plan on returning because of this.

Love this spot as a music venue. My partner and I came about a year ago and had such good food we were looking forward to the same experience this weekend. Unfortunately, they just had the “dance floor menu” this time around, which was extremely limited and overpriced. The Margherita pizza slice was horrible. It was the size of my hand and $7. The caprese wrap was a bunch of spring mix, dressing, and a couple pieces of tomato in a wrap. Go for the music, not for the food.

"Doors 8, Show 8:30" It's 9:45 and people are leaving pissed because the band hasn't started. Over an hour late on a weeknight, no apology, nothing. You could just not lie to your clientele.

We are so glad we finally gave Ophelia's a try for brunch! Staff was amazing, entertainment was amazing, venue is unique and eclectic with such an energetic vibe! It's a must try!

Brunch at Ophelia's with live music or a DJ is always a good time. It's a loud environment so be ready for that if you're trying to chat with friends. But if you come prepared to enjoy drinks, food, and music you will not be disappointed! The staff is always amazing & the food is great!

The service was subpar. You can barely hear and have to yell to give your order. They got my drink order and walked away without getting my sister's drink order. The food was just okay. I did enjoy the potato wedges. I'd like to see more items related to the theme. I really enjoyed the music, but it was rather loud.

Recent reviews are apot on regarding food has gone down hill since new Management. Very limited menu and honestly food was really bad. I had the hangover fries with chicken. Chicken had no flavor at all and some pieces cold inside. The so called queso did not taste like cheese at all. Very bland flavor. Best things were the wedge potatoes which were supposed to be waffle fries and I'm sure they were frozen but atleast they had flavor. Come here for the alcohol and music..eat before you come and don't order any food. So disappointing and a waste of my money.

After a good experience early January, I'm revising this to 1 star. Our waiter was amazing but after waiting for food for 2 hours, I'm done. We left. No food. Management needs to figure out what to do when understaffed for a large venue. This isn't any bad review on the wait staff, just management. You can't handle this, you shouldn't be in business.

Changed their menu without posting on the website. Let a lady take off her shoes next to me (next level up so in my face) good for concerts but not food sadly

Decent venue and fun to visit normally, but I feel like the shows here are over sold

I fell in love with pre-Covid Ophelia‘s seven or eight years ago. I was so happy that it survived the pandemic and it still tops my list of favorite venues around Denver. Today, however it was by far the worst experience I have had there. We had a 115 reservation, waited, probably 30 minutes for a table, but we're unbothered as we had drinks at the bar while we waited. We were seated at a table downstairs. When we ordered, I was told that the biscuits and gravy I ordered might be gone and asked if I had a second choice. Asked for the Benedict pizza as a second choice. We then waited about an hour with no food. Our server, Tyler was great and did keep us in mimosas the whole time, checking in along the way. He did, however let me know that my second choice was also unavailable. I ordered the Denver skillet which my dining companion had also ordered, which I didn't really want but at that point, I just needed food and didn't care When we were well past an hour with no food, he brought out an order of smothered fries to tie us over. Shortly, after that, our orders came out. They were welcomed because we were very hungry and needed to soak up some mimosa, however, what we got on both counts was mostly piles of fried potatoes and piled in comparison to the delicious branches I've had at Ophelia‘s before. Again, Tyler was great. He comped all of our food, and we were able to take good care of him. As things were finally winding down by the time we got our food oh around three or 330, he sat down to talk to us about some of the issues that Ophelia's was going through and the shortage of staffing they had in their kitchen. We had a great conversation, and his friendliness was very appreciated. But overall, the experience was not what I have come to expect at Ophelia‘s and was very disappointing. I hope whatever happens in their next round of ownership is able to fix some of the management issues and bring it back to its former glory.

I've been to Ophelia's many times and today went to “The Cure” brunch. Cute idea but other than Cure music and videos playing, it was just brunch. Big missed opportunity to have more fun what's the theme. My reservation was at 11:45 and I was seated immediately. I'd say downstairs because I usually sit upstairs and thought I'd try something different. At noon, after being ignored by all wait staff, I flagged someone down to place an order. My drink came out fairly quickly but then I started to notice that none of the tables downstairs had any food: that was weird because there were probably 15 tables and nobody was eating? After waiting 30 minutes I was getting antsy - my waiter mentioned that food would start arriving soon. I was then watching the clock and at. 12:43pm I finally got my dish. I felt slightly weird as most of the other table ms had been waiting a lot longer than me. I had the avocado toast. It was on - nothing spectacular. I ate quickly and asked for my bill. When I left I checked upstairs and some people were eating but still a lot of foodless tables. Not sure what happened today and I'm not going to write off Ophelia's d forever but I was definitely disappointed.
