Please bring back the old ramen recipes. We miss the really good vegetarian ramen and the Tonkotsu ramen recipe. The new recipes are bland and don't have the veggies and flavor of the originals! Best small bites: crispy spicy tuna, honey miso eggplant and short ribs.

My favorite roll is Ototo rolls, Raw plate is the best sashimi. The yellowtail sashimi is soft like butter , like it melt in your mouth lol. Salmon belly roll is fatty in a good way. Even tho there’s not much of choices for sushi roll compare to Sushi Den , but what they have are delicious and quality.
Crispy Spicy Tuna is the best! Try the Sashimi catch of the day you will not be disappointed. The ramen is delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful. Highly recommend if you like Sushi Den but, would like a little less craziness.

As someone who has been to japan, this place is essentially an izakaya, they serve izakaya food and while its roughly as good as the average izakaya, it’s 10 times the price. I didn’t have the ramen, but the small plates were alright at best.

We loved every bite of our meal at Ototo! Aburi was one of the specials that night, and we thought that was incredible...loved the smokey flavor! We also had the bacon mochi (fun!), the ototo roll (good, but probably my least favorite due to a certain spice taste that I couldn't quite figure out), the yellowtail (can't remember what it was called on the menu, but kind of life-changing...SOOOOOO good!), and a four-piece sushi roll that was also on the special menu. Our drinks were fabulous, our server was even more fabulous, and it was just a fun, relaxing evening! I only gave the ambience a four because we were seated next to the window and had to wear our coats, but what can you do? :)

Had a great meal with friends here. Look forward to coming back.
Always great food and great service. A bit more of a relaxed environment than it's two sisters. Their specials and happy hour menu are often changing, with plenty ofd good options. Great bartender as well.

We've dined at this restaurant several times and everything on the menu is great. The agedashi tofu is amazing as is the bacon wrapped mochi. However, there really isn't anything on the menu that we haven't liked.

Okay Ramen. I'm sure our experience is not the norm, but we will not be back.
Wonderful dinning experience. The oyster and sushi are fresh. The grilled beef tongue is amazing, tender and juicy. Highly recommended. Chicken thigh is little too sweet for me, but overall OTOTO provides decent quality of food.

Service was excellent. Everything we ordered tasted pretty amazing and super fresh. Highlights were definitely the miso honey eggplant, tako yaki, and the classic Katsu don. Wish we tried more nigiri and maybe some yakitori but will order next time.

Went in this time for the ramen, one of my all time favorite dishes. Had some apps as well, which were delightful. Service was pretty good. Only drawback was the noodles they use in the ramen are sub-par. Store bought Japanese wheat noodles would be my best guess, rather than homemade egg noodles. If these were upgraded it would be a huge improvement on an already fantastic spot for other types of Japanese food.
