Incredible sushi, great service, the whole experience was fabulous. I was worried that the menu seemed limited, but it was just perfect. The freshest sushi I've had. Four us ate there for my son's birthday and it was great. I will definitely be back.

Really great low key atmosphere, good music, good sake, friendly service, and some of the best sashimi I’ve ever had. **note they don’t have fancy sushi rolls you’re used to in other restaurants, just high quality basics. Couldn’t recommend more if that sounds likeSomething you’d like

Meh, cold rice in the rolls and slow service during a night with few customers. I've had better luck at their Cherry Hills location.

Great sushi that doesn't break the bank. It satisfies the craving! Highly recommend the wagyu, salmon, and yellowtail sashimi.

This sushi is fresh no matter what day I order, or what season. I love the sushi here, and I live in the neighborhood so I get it multiple times a month. No major bells and whistles...but fresh a** fish and I look forward to all my sushi pick ups!! Gotta try it!!!

I love this place! No, it's not traditional sushi. Yes, the menu is confusing. Yes, it's bar seating only. With such a small menu, they are able to really focus on quality and it shows. I don't like that you are served one roll at a time, but the server was on point with bringing the next roll to us as soon as we finished the last one. I will be coming back, the quality of ingredients is too good to sleep on.

A Park Hill gem. They offer a unique sushi experience with excellent sashimi. They also have a broad sake and Japanese whiskey selection. Don't miss out on this place!

So simple and really delicious. The menu is very simple and you won’t find a lot of the “extraness” you see at other sushi restaurants. All counter seating and prices were reasonable

I had been want to try Park Hill or Cherry Hills Sushi for a while. The Cherry Hills location is so tiny and always SO packed that we can never get in. So, we decided to try the Park Hill location on Colfax and see if we can get a seat on a Friday night. We walked in and there was only 1 patron seated. The whole seating area is bar seating and very open. They said we can sit wherever we want so we just picked the ones closest to the door. The server came over and explained the concept to us. (It is different then a typical sushi joint you are used to). We have been to a place like this, same concept, in Vegas and enjoyed it. The menu is set up to order in combos basically. A combo of 3 rolls (hand rolls) for $14.49, 4 rolls $18.49 and so on. We noticed there was real wasabi on the menu and decided to try it. I have never had real wasabi before so why not give it a try. I honestly don't think it is worth getting, but you can taste the difference. It has more a sweet flavor to it versus horseradish. I started with miso soup and my husband got the seaweed salad to start with. Both were pretty good. Then we each got some yellowtail and chili crisp tuna sashimi and he even order some waygu. I wasn't a fan of the waygu personally. My yellowtail was amazing though and comparable to other places with the yellowtail jalapeno, this one beats them by flavor and price. I will say that is the best deal on the menu. We each got 3 rolls: Salmon, Tuna, Spicy scallop, unagi and lobster. (you can get two special items with each combo which were the unagi and lobster for the same price). My favorite was the salmon. Next time I think I will get salmon sashimi too, it was that tasty. Topped it off with some cold sake and a beer and our tab was pretty high. This place will cost you more than a typical sushi restaurant. Our normal night out for sushi is $50-$70. This one was over $100 and we each only had 1 drink. The yellowtail and unagi were the stars of the meal and we will be back to have those again, but we will probably cut back on some extra items since it is a bit pricey.

This place is interesting but menu is very limited. It was good what we ate but not really worth it for the price. My bf and I got 4 things and it was $43+ tip. The waitresses are very nice and the place is cute. I suggest looking at the menu before going. We didn’t do that and that’s on us lol

I like only a few sushi restaurants in Denver, so when my friends said we're going to Park Hill Sushi I was very apprehensive. I have to say this is like no other sushi restaurant I've ever been too. You walk in and the only seating is at the bar. The bartender/sushi maker greeted us and welcomed my friends back in again and for bringing new patrons. Unlike most sushi restaurants that have many rolls, they have a very limited selection, but I'm not hating on it. Each roll I got (spicy tuna, spicy shrimp, spicy lobster, and spicy scallop) had just enough kick to it and was so fresh. I tried my friends chili crispy tuna and boy that had a kick, but it was impossible to stop eating it was that good. My favorite thing on their menu had to be the wagyu. They "torch" the meat in front of you and OMG was it good. Pretty much everything on the menu we tried was great and watch out other sushi restaurants you guys have competition!

I haven't met a sushi place I haven't liked... until now. You're greeted with an overly complex sheet of paper that some poor graphic designer beautifully designed but it misses because it's trying to be a bit too cute with coming up with a "new and hip" way to order sushi. A few test runs should have easily pointed out the flaws. If someone has to describe how to order and juxtapose how one normally gets sushi every time someone sits down and has to keep describing it - Oy. Now to the "sushi". Yikes, if I wanted meat salads, I would have visited my grandma for her famous tuna noodle casserole. It seems antithetical to emphasize simplicity and good ingredients, if they're masked by minced meats padded with globs of rice. One roll was so stomach churning it lay waste on the plate, sad. It's a nice place to go if you want to show off to a friend or a date and make them think that you're a "foodie"

The neighborhood pizza joint was packed with families watching the Avs in the Stanley Cup, so I decided to try one of the restaurants on my lists. This is a cozy sushi place with a square dining bar taking up most of the space. (Everything was very clean, including the restroom). I got three of the eggroll sized rolls, all were very good. I also tried the chili-crisp tuna sashimi (sashimi comes with 4 pieces), which had a light pepper coating on the outside and was topped with chili crisp. Just spicy enough. Quality of the fish is spot-on and the chef behind the counter was friendly and quick to deliver my next roll once I finished what I had. Will definitely be back.

I've lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years and many high-quality restaurants have been in this space although I haven't had the urge to visit any of them. Reading other reviews made me want to check this place out and it delivered. Their sake selection is top quality for Denver. Their Temaki style rolls are better and more reasonably priced than Temaki Den, an offshoot of Sushi Den. Highly recommended.
