My husband and I recently visited a restaurant we spotted on TikTok. We started our evening by watching a movie upstairs, then came down to eat. For starters, we ordered an appetizer, for dinner he chose quesobirrias, and I went for a huarache. Unfortunately, the appetizer took a very long time to arrive. Just two minutes later, our main dishes were served, so we couldn’t really enjoy or finish our starters without risking our dinner getting cold.
The food itself was pretty good, and the customer service was friendly, but there were a few hiccups. Instead of my huarache, I received two sopes. I ate them anyway, thinking that might be how they prepare it, but the receipt clearly showed sopes. On top of that, they forgot to remove the bottom straw paper, which almost caused a choking hazard. Overall, the food was tasty, but the experience left a bit to be desired.

Stopped here tonight and the food is great! This is a new location but same great food and local people. We talked to the owner (Javier) and he is extremely passionate about this restaurant. Definitely a go to for mexican in the area!

Authentic quality Mexican food in a cute outdoor setting in the heart of downtown. Drinks were extremely tasty and the price is well worth the food. Friendly staff and a great ambiance. We will be back. They use only fresh fruit and fresh ingredients. Fresh made everyday . 10 times better than the other local restaurants in our opinion, Just anywhere else .We highly recommend you come check them out if you're in the downtown area.

Que Rico earned 5 stars on all points! The atmosphere took us back to days of growing up In Baja Mar, Mexico. The colors, music, etc. We had the fluatas, queso birria tacos, fish taco, carne asado tacos plate, Birria Ramen. All plates tasted fresh, flavors great. Finished with fruit crepe!! Amazing!!! Highly recommend!!

The esquites and taco plate were awesome.. but the real star of the show was their red salsa! It has a spice that builds but at its core, it has such an amazing flavor.. 10/10!
