5 star experience all the way around! Eli and Joaquin were very accommodating. Such a fun and quirky location and cool way to enter. We visited on a Saturday night during what I feel was prime time (between 11pm-1am), and had a small wait. It was nice to be able to enjoy some ice cream while waiting though! When you enter, you are met with a sci-fi themed, intimate, speakeasy vibe. The drinks were delicious and the service was EXTRAORDINARY. Eli has probably been the best bartender...
Second place we stopped for cocktails for the evening, we had ice cream while we waited. The girl behind the ice cream bar was very sweet.
The speakeasy in the back is fun, but it’s a bit loud because the space is so small and is usually pretty busy. They played old movies on the wall, and the cocktails were awesome!

Retrograde is hands down one of the coolest spots in town—and probably the only legit speakeasy around. Hidden behind what looks like a regular ice cream parlor, the entrance is as fun as the drinks. You’ll find a metal fridge door, flip the switch, and like magic, someone will come open the door and welcome you into a whole different vibe.
Once inside, it’s cozy, stylish, and full of character. The cocktails? Awesome. Thoughtfully crafted and super tasty....
