I was at the hotel for an event, stopped in for dinner because it was super convenient. I was sat on the outer part of the restaurant, which was lovely and open and bright (perfect for me to read while I ate). Inside looked cozy and romantic, there's a bar that can be accessed without going into the main restaurant.
Every person I encountered was very friendly, shout out to my server Ally! I had the Impossible cheeseburger, fries were crunchy and seasoned perfectly. Great wine, beer and cocktail list. Will certainly be back!
If you’re staying at the Hyatt, which I don’t recommend, it’s a convenient, decent spot to grab food and drinks. The service is solid, the seating is comfortable, food is solid, and it’s located on the second floor, it’s been done well. Lots of TVs for sports. A solid choice if you’re staying at the hotel to hang with friends, family, or coworkers, or to make new friends. But definitely not worth going to if you’re not staying at or visiting the hotel.

Great big sign says: “PLEASE WAIT TO BE SEATED”. I stood there for a full 5 minutes and was ignored. Two staff members walked by and ignored me. Found a menu and the choices were very limited. Based on the cost and zero service, along with poor ratings, I hit Uber eats who I will give 5 stars and even with delivery fees it was much less. Not impressed.

Customer service is stellar! After spending the entire morning in the ER, we had missed breakfast. Even though it was lunch time, Chelsea called the chef in the kitchen and he made my husband a special veggie omelet to enjoy in our room. Huge thanks for the wonderful staff here! We also had dinner. The grilled salmon with lemon buerre blanc sauce and asparagus were cooked perfectly. I order salmon frequently, and the chef at Root 25 did better than many fine dining places I've been. Margarita flatbread was delicious too. We want to thank the food service manager Quizon - very impressed with his professionalism and attentiveness in making our stay a great experience.

Don’t be fooled by an illusion of “convenience” by dining here because you are a Hyatt guest. There are several other nearby dining options, any of which would be better than this joke of a restaurant.
For one, ordering felt like a visit to a used car dealership. Multiple attempts to upsell while we were ordering which was super tacky, we just wanted something basic.
We chose the 2-egg breakfast, which came with a choice of bacon, pork, or chicken sausage. Which was a great option because we don’t eat pork. it was $16 but came with no toast. Oh you want toast? That’ll be a $5 up-charge. No thanks.
The food came quickly, and we dug in. I noticed the chicken sausage did not taste right. Suspicious but unable to find the waitress, I went to the buffet and peeked at the sausage options, and sure enough, we were given 3 pork sausages (instead of the single larger chicken sausage). Problem is, I’d already eaten one ?. There’s no excuse for this type of mistake, especially where they are so quick to demand upcharges and premiums. How about you get your sh!t together before devising ways to nickel and dime your customers?
As far as the atmosphere goes, it left much to be desired. There was an employee adjacent to our table slamming silverware into a bin for 10 solid minutes. It sounded like 100 spoons being tumbled in a clothes dryer, all within 5 feet of a full dining room. No common sense by the employee, he could have gently placed them into the bin, but chose instead to drop them from several inches above. It was loud, obnoxious, and completely unnecessary. Just goes to show the lack of common sense and incompetence of the staff.
Also noticed that they have raised the buffet price by $2 every year, again demonstrating an unwavering commitment to extracting as much cash as possible from guests, all while failing to provide any quality. Restaurants that operate this way never have a good outcome, it’s a slow burn that inevitably ends in failure. And I can’t wait to see it.

Mediocre food and ok service. The carbonara sauce was overcooked and became essentially scrambled egg pasta.

Ordered chicken wings from the bar. I walked out 35 minutes later with no wings.

The chefs specials were cooked to perfection. I will be going back when I'm in the area again.

The staff always sucks, ive stayed at this hotel probably ten times and they are just always so rude. They do not stay open to midnight like it says. Very rude when we come down to get a drink at 1133 and get told last call was at 1130. Its a hotel bar, everything is already clean and theres three employees waiting around for closing time. Serve more drinks and make more tips its simple logic

It’s a bit hard to figure out where to get your pickup order: Go right to the bar to get it. The veggie wrap and fries was exactly what I needed on a work trip, after an event with booze involved

Customer service is so poor. Root 25's employees are so rude and they always keep them on high demand, even they don't care if any customers ask them for anything...
