Staying in the hotel, so I tried out this place for both lunch and dinner yesterday. For Lunch I had the Grilled Portobello Wrap, while tasty the chickpeas (hummus) definitely overpowered the other veggies so I forgot that it was even a portobello wrap. Still it was stuffed so much I had only ate one half. Fries were tasty.! The salad with salmon for dinner was tasty and since the salad had a vinaigrette I asked for a cup of Caesar dressing for my salmon, which definitely did the trick to add more flavor and taste to it.. the salad seemed to be more drizzled than dressed with the vinaigrette so if you're someone like men who likes dressing you may have to ask for more. I'm not a big pudding person but wanted something light so I gave the chefs special a try. This dessert was divine! I'm a strawberry girl so the vanilla pudding immersed in strawberries and topped with gram cracker crumbles and whipped cream! With a strawberry on top! Whew yummy. Presentation on 10 for the Dessert! In the evening this place is a great mix of lowkey yet with TVs around you can keep up with tv shows and games too. It saw a mix of couples dining for a date, people dining alone and working too.

I visited Root 25 for lunch during a conference. I was looking forward to their lunch menu, only to learn that all they had was a buffet. The buffet was a "taco bar" except there was only one type of meat that wasn't labeled. When I asked what it was, I was told "taco meat" but "not beef". It was definitely beef, and it tasted adequate. There weren't a lot of options for toppings. It cost $23. Overall, I cannot recommend this place for lunch. The entire experience was pretty sub par. Now the bar at night was a great time. They made excellent drinks and had a pretty good beer selection. I'd love to add a couple stars for that, but I struggle with them calling themselves a tap house when they had NOTHING ON TAP. That's right. Their taps were ALL BROKEN. Again, we had good cocktails, and that's the only reason this review isn't 1 star.

The staff always sucks, ive stayed at this hotel probably ten times and they are just always so rude. They do not stay open to midnight like it says. Very rude when we come down to get a drink at 1133 and get told last call was at 1130. Its a hotel bar, everything is already clean and theres three employees waiting around for closing time. Serve more drinks and make more tips its simple logic

Met Chef Drew and we enjoyed the food there so much we ate there everyday. Fresh ingredients and the presentation was nice. He even gave us a free sample to try his newest dessert creations which were delicious! If we are ever back in Denver we will be back! Service staff was excellent and on point as well!

The breakdast buffet here is one of the best I have sampled. The entre and dessert items here are excellent. Don't let the price make you order from the menu because with coffee free with a buffet, this is the best deal here. The service here is the best I have ever experienced. Ganil was my server both days and exhibited exemplary service both mornings that I had breakfast. Her positive kind attitude is probably why service gets high ratings on gmaps.Additionally, I had lunch here. On gmaps says it is closed but is incorrect. I had Root25 burger with frys. The burger had great Char and taste. The fixings were fresh and crisp. The truffle frys were some of the lightest and crispest I have tasted.Overall, food and service were excellent here. It is one of the best food service groups I have had the pleasure to review.
Had the Caesar salad and while it was tasty, I did not like the presentation. I wish they would have cut up the lettuce.

Not my favorite I ordered the salmon mashed potatoes and broccoli the salmon in the broccolini we're both very hard and dry. My boyfriend had the Fried Chicken he said it was very Bland pretty much we both left majority of our food on the plates the manager came over and was very nice nice enough to take my salmon off the bill and did give us a free dessert but the service was great a waiter was awesome his name is Chris I remember that

After traveling all day came down to grab a quick bite. My server was Elaine, she was super nice and very helpful about the menu. I ended up ordering the burger. It was cooked perfectly. While eating I asked if they had pickles, she asked a gentleman named Drew (who I believe is a chef). He said they didn't have any on this floor but would go get some for me from another area. I told him I didn't want to put him out, he said it was no problem. He brought some the pickles and was super funny about it. The thoughtfulness of their service is very much appreciated.My burger and fries were delicious!
