I cannot speak about the “sao đêm” events… We are from NYC, so we know good food. We ordered the pho, cả phê sua đa, and BBH. As a Vietnamese, the food took us back to Vietnam! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the food and the huge screen with the Sunday night football game on. I had the beef and eggplant salad, which was fresh, delicious and a new flavor profile for me that I enjoyed! I also got the shaking beef and the bun bo hue. Both were very good. The Bun Bo Hue had a buttery taste to the broth that I really enjoyed.
I had one issue, and I know it may be a cultural thing, but people were smoking Joes in the corridor between the first door you walk through and the main door. So as you are walking into the restaurant, it smelled like a smoking ashtray. Not a great first impression when walking into a restaurant imo. I hope it was just because it was a Sunday night and I was the only person there eating.
Pricing was extremely reasonable and the people were all very friendly.

I’m picking when it comes to Asian food but they make the best chicken feet, shaking beef, and the vibe is on point. The sound system is great for parties and if you want a chill lunch during the day it’s nice and quiet. The shaking beef is the best in town, stop by for little bite sized filet mignon pieces that melt in your mouth with rice and juicy tomatoes. I’m going to go get some right now.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredible owner and staff at Sao Dem’s for making my mom's 70th birthday party a truly remarkable event. You all are simply amazing! The planning process was seamless, and the setup was beautiful, complete with personal touches like picture frames on the tables, a stunning balloon arch, and fresh flowers for the centerpieces.
As if that weren't enough, the food was absolutely amazing, with guests still raving about it, especially the shaking beef and egg rolls! To top off our night, we all had a blast dancing and singing our hearts out to karaoke. The inclusion of huge screens allowed us to view a beautiful slideshow and was perfect for karaoke (they’d also be amazing for watching sports). Sao Dem and its staff, thank you for creating unforgettable memories and ensuring a memorable birthday for my mom.
