Absolutely the best Mexican food in Denver! We stopped in, had a delightful lunch, ended up taking food to go and then had Sarahi cater an event for us. The tamales and churros were amazing and everyone was absolutely thrilled. Sarahi and her family are some of the nicest people we've ever met, and boy do they know how to cook! In addition to the tamales, you have to try the asada and the birria tacos! Muchas gracias Sarahi y Jesus y hasta pronto!

I am here and I’m eating the best tacos I’ve ever had in Denver. The street tacos were amazing! I just came back from Mexico City earlier today and I randomly stumbled here and I couldn’t believe how authentic the food tasted. Only to find out Sarahi is from Mexico City. The best place to get tacos in all of Mexico. She came out and greeted us because I was raving about how amazing her tacos are. What a great experience. I’m definitely am coming back!

We happened upon Sarahi's one day and are so happy we did. The food is delicious, the margaritas are superb, and Sarahi herself is a delightful host and skilled chef. The quesabirrias are the best I've had. Everything is made fresh from scratch, including the margaritas, and the quality is certainly noticeable. Conveniently located on Colfax, we'll certainly be back again and again. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for quality Mexican food in Denver that is a cut above the many options.

Just came from dinner at Sarahi’s. Fabulous posole, delicious fajitas. Chicken green chile tamales some of the best we have ever had. Great service. We live close by …and love to see locally owned neighborhood places like this succeed. We will be back!

All the food at Sarah's is excellent. However, the house specialty are theor tamales.
The family that runs and owns the place are from Guerrero (Oaxaca's neighboring state) and they make tamales with banana leaves, not the more common corn leaves. The tamales are full of flavor. These tamales are so in demand that you should plan ahead. I would call and make sure that they have some before you show up.
This is the third time I've visited and every time I've been there I have felt cared for.

Pass by here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. And I guarantee a great experience. Not just authentic, but made on site right there just for you. I had the breakfast burrito and it was out of this world.
