I was excited to go here after hearing about its brunch for years. It was busy but not packed, but the service was terrible. They forgot all of one order and part of mine. It was nearly impossible to get coffee ... or refills once we finally got it. At the end of our meal, they brought us another person's order. Disappointing experience ...

This is based on a Saturday brunch. The food, taste, presentation and value-for-money is very good especially given the type of hotel. Beverages a bit less of a value but fine. Service started great but with a station all over the restaurant and running with full covers, it became much less so. No manager was ever present and the hostess seemed to not really understand how to seat people for the size of the party against others waiting. Specifically, an open 2-top where we should have been brought was going to remain open while we were put at another table but beside a large open area where other tables could be brought for a waiting party of 5. I, as guest, shouldn't have to suggest that especially in such a place. But this is also a restaurant that kept an outdated menu posted for months (yes, plural) and despite having walked one night when it wasn't offered any longer. In other words, it's good but should be a lot, a lot, better.

The Bloody Mary bar is a nice touch. The menu is limited for Sunday Brunch - particularly if you don't eat bacon or ham. It is a nice option, for something different. It can be pretty noisy, so not a good bet for somewhere you want to have an actual conversation. Overall, the food is good and the service is fast/friendly. The pricing is Marriott restaurant pricing, so don't be surprised if you leave for around $80 for two people (with tip) and don't feel like you had much for the money.

Brought my dad here for his birthday and there was a group of 6 of us. If you were sitting on one side of the table it was very hard to hear the other side of the table. Appeared to be a great spot to bring kids for brunch on Sunday mornings. Tried the doughnut holes as an appetizer and they were very light and flavorful!

The service was fantastic however the food was not great. The pot pie was too thick and gloppy. the lasagna, bland. I would not ever recommend the lemon poppy seed cake which was more like a strange biscotti. I wanted to really like it but it was not to be.

The atmosphere is very pleasant. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. The smoked prime rib was lukewarm at best and definitely not worth the rather pricey cost ($32). Others in our party were also not impressed with the meatloaf, while the burgers did make a more favorable impression. It seems like a better place to have drinks than a meal. Too many great places in Denver to eat for this to merit anything more than a very pedestrian rating.

Have been here many times, but this was a new experience -- waiter ruined the evening. He was intrusive and inattentive, forgetting utensil replacement, interrupting us, slow to respond to requests, not good at meal timing, and seemed to have a whole "schtick" that put all the focus in him, not on the meal. So slow w entrees, we had to ask at the counter. Food okay, and still a nice venue, but some outstanding menu items have been removed (chicken and waffles). Overall this was my worst experience by far at this restaurant and the only visit I would rate as a Fail, after many previously successful business and personal dining experiences here.

This is based on Saturday brunch where a standard thing would be coffee refills. Had to flag down the server for it the first time. Entrees are very good and priced in-line with competing places around town. So for a very upscale hotel, this becomes a good deal though parking is always a challenge in the area. But certainly for Cherry Creek North, it's a good place for brunch.

Within a hotel which was slightly weird. Food took a very long time, but when it came was delicious. Very chaotic atmosphere with tons of unruly kiddos running around and screaming- was hard to hear my husband from across the table. Kindly, they took some things off the check due to the long wait. I don't think we'd go back, unfortunately.

We went for brunch on Labor Day - very busy, but excellent service, bottomless mimosas that you can switch flavor a with every glass, and the food was crazy delicious! Our server Ian was amazing and it was his birthday, but he was just wonderful!! He made great suggestions (the donut holes are crunchy and perfect with the berry sauce) and an absolutely delicious alternative when they ran out of an ingredient in my dish.

This place was recommended to me as I had family staying in Cherry Creek. it did not disappoint. Great menu that will accommodate brunch eaters who want breakfast or lunch as was the case with my crowd. We had the Blueberry challah French toast, and the Biscuits and Gravy. Both were outstanding. I hear the chicken and waffles is also great. Fantastic and friendly service. Make sure you make a reservation!

SO GOOD! Everything we ordered was divine (from cocktails to desserts). Pastry Chef Kendall Matthews is a culinary genius and her ice cream sandwich creations (as well as the 4 menu desserts we tried) were unforgettable. Menu ranged from a light, impeccable halibut to a savory wild mushroom pizza and everything was delicious. Service was outstanding and food was prepared so quickly! Grapefruit and pear cocktails were worth a happy hour stop in themselves.

We have been long time fans of Second Home but I think they might be getting a little sloppy. We were there for brunch at a 1:30 reservation so we were cutting it close, but eggs were not prepared as ordered, no bottomless Mimosa's and we were rushed to place our order. Because they were preparing for the dinner crowd our server would disappear for long stretches- all in all it was just an OK experience. So many great choices in Cherry Creek...they need to stay on top of their game to make it.

Our server was FANTASTIC! We were celebrating our recent engagement and we were treated with champagne and dessert. Both were fantastic- we highly recommend the caramel apple pie. All of our waitresses suggestions on cocktails, appetizers and entrees were spot on. We will definitely be back again.
