The lomo Saltado and the quinoa poblano were fantastic. Food was great. Service was great. Bar was a little off as I ordered a Buffalo Trace with one small ice cube and received a whiskey on the rocks the first time and second time was poured over a big rock. Nothing a fork and side plate could not resolve for a do it yourselfer but otherwise everything was really good. Would dine here again.
We had an amazing experience at Toro Latin Kitchen, and a huge part of that was our wonderful server, Angie! She was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. The food was interesting and half of what we ordered aas really good - grilled octopus, corn empanadas, fresh guacamole - and the rest was just okay. Biggest issue was the noise level. The restaurant was only half full, with empty tables on both sides of us, and it difficult to have a conversation. Service was fast, friendly and knowledgeable.
