Nice atmosphere - food left me a little disappointed. My salad had too much dressing and was soggy at the bottom. My steak was very heavy with garlic - I like garlic - but it was overwhelming. I hoped for more.
Our server neglected to ensure the salad had dressing on the side. The crab cake was drowning in a sea of tartar sauce and covered with a mound of frisbee lettuce. We actually refused the food because it didn't look at all like what we thought we ordered. But, sadly, it was. The cocktails and wine were very good. Dessert was very good as well, but took forever to come out. We took a few bites and had to leave to make our theatre curtain time. Overall, not the Tavern experience...
One of the BEST experinces in Downtown! Forgot I was deep in the city. Beautiful. Historic. Caught an amazing jazz band Saturday night! Cozy & Quaint. Them chairs... I could sit there all night! 🥰 Staff - On point. Didn't miss a beat. The small tavern feel was so refreshing. Food absolutely amazing.
