The whole pizzas are better than the individual slices which may have sat for a while. Note that they have closed at this location, but plan to reopen elsewhere when they can secure a suitable lease.

While the pizza was good, the person who took my order at the drive thru added a tip without my consent. For that reason alone I will not return

This is a solid pizza joint that I will come back to. They taste like a prototypical NY slice you'd get out of Madison Square Garden. I got a whole cheese pizza because - in my opinion, there's nowhere to hide when you get a plain cheese pizza.

The crust and pizza were so thin that light from a dull lamp penetrates through it - and I like that. The crust had a light crunch while still having a satisfying, gluten-y chew. Overall good but I'd change a couple of things. The crust needs more salt and the end of the crust could be a little larger.

The cheese was standard and good. Nice light amount of browning on top.

The sauce was good but nearly non-existent.. which I think is neutral/good. Maybe if I ask for a touch more sauce next time, they'll do it for me.

Service was excellent. The owner (I think?) was very friendly and we got a free slice sample while we were waiting. Pizza came out lightning-fast at 8 minutes.

So why a 4 instead of a 5? I almost gave it a 5, but a few things...

No dine-in area. The man I spoke to said that things have changed since COVID and that he is comfortable with doing drive-thru only. It's understandable, but I'd really like to have a seat and enjoy a lunch special.

The crust needs salt. It's SO close to being an excellent NY slice example. Maybe toppings could help with this, but I judged by a standard cheese slice - the way it should be.

And finally, price. I would say that the price is JUST fair. I winced a little at first, but I didn't feel too bad about it after I ate three slices.

Overall, a very good experience. We'll be back!

The pizza was good for the price. The sauce is tasty, and the toppings were pretty good. The crust could use some work, maybe more salt. The cheese was decent. Although the pizza was delicious overall.

I've never had food so good it made me angry at all the other food I've eaten up until that point until I ate at Slices.

Do yourself a favor, get a whole pie, you'll be thankful - just be sure to give them a call ahead of time to let them know you're coming in for a whole thing and they'll have it ready. Truly 10/10 food and staff, I recommend it every chance i get.

Kid-friendliness: They're super friendly to kids and dogs both!

So, so good! The best New York Style pizza and the people are so friendly. It's a drive-thru only and hours are weird, but it's worth it. Google the hours and go get a slice!

Being from the east coast I consider myself very lucky to live so close to this spot. The father and son team always make consistent, light weight, crispy pies which is how pizza is supposed to be. Since I started coming here in 2015 I've never once been disappointed and I always look forward to having a fun chat when picking up a pie. Keep it up guys!

By far one of the best pizzas in town but moreso purveyed by an amazing friendly family. This place represents community and glad to be part of it. Definitely in our regular takeout routine. This place makes the Hampden part of town better!

Best pizza in the area, hands down! They prove that you can make New York style pizza be delicious AND also not greasy. Steve is one of the nicest guys around, and his son Brett definitely follows in his footsteps. Support this awesome local business!

It was closing time and we ordered 2 slices of pizza, the owner was amazing and told us it was on the house. This means so much as I have been out of work for 4 months. The pizza was amazing! Thank you!

I recently visited this amazing pizza place and was blown away by the outstanding customer service! The staff was incredibly kind, sweet, and radiated positive energy throughout my visit. They offer a wide variety of pizza options to satisfy every taste, along with great desserts like warm brownies. The spicy ranch sauce they offer adds a delicious kick to the pizza. I love the convenience of their drive-through option, where I can grab my pizza on the go without compromising on quality. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations in terms of taste and freshness. I highly recommend this place for its amazing customer service, diverse pizza options, and overall delightful dining experience. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Slow. Waited in line for 5-10m and didn't move a car. Thought this was drive thru? Flawed concept maybe.
