Delicious, the brisket is so tender you can't eat it with a fork! Pulled pork was awesome as well. Nice beer selection to wash it down. A little off the beaten path however easy access.

Stopped in for a quick dinner while visiting a nearby Distillery. Had a combo meat meal and all was delicious. A bit pricey but to be expected in a Denver BBQ pit. Atmosphere is what would be expected in a small place w small tables and tight spaces. Only complaint is that they were out of several meats and we got pretty small portions.

As soon as I pulled up, the first thing I noticed was the smell that brought back memories of smoking brisket at the ranch with my family. Once I walked in the atmosphere reminded me of a small town barbecue joint back in Texas, everybody working there was super friendly and more than willing to help out. While I was there, I ate the chicken fried steak only because I've been craving one for a while and it had really good flavor, I just wish it wouldn't have been so thin, that being said though, I brought home some brisket, sausage, burt ends, and some chicken wings to which all I can say is, wow, everything was amazing and it made me feel like I was back in Texas. I gotta say that I never thought in a million years I'd find good barbecue in Denver, but this place was amazing and I'll definitely be coming here from now on. #customer for life

I’m leaving a four star review because my review I wanted to leave wouldn’t be fair. We are from Texas and as a rule, we normally wouldn’t eat barbecue from anywhere else because we know we will be disappointed. Smokin Yards was conviently located and had great reviews so we went for it. I had the chopped brisket and mashed potatoes. The meat was so bland. Didn’t really have a taste at all and was a little dry. I took a couple of bites and didn’t even finish it. My husband had the Carolina pulled pork and he stated the same thing about the meat. BUT the portion sizes were OK, the prices fair, the service was fast and the staff were super friendly.
