Middlestate reliably offers solid espresso. Their seasonal menu also has fun espresso drinks and the waffles are not to be skipped. The shop is relatively small which can make finding a seat tough during peak hours but the ambiance inside is cool and modern. They have one small bike rack outside which is great for cyclists if it's not already taken. One of the better roasters and coffee shops in Denver in my opinion.
One of the best coffee spots in Denver. Tucked away in an industrial area you’ll find a bight multi level interior. Also serves wine!

MiddleState Coffee offers a delicious spicy chia latte, with the option of sweet or spicy, and serves some of the best hot chai. It is known for its amazing vibes and great coffee, including the popular espresso tonic. The iced chai tea is very good, and the iced caramel latte is praised as one of the best around. The panini press could use a healthier alternative than Pam, and the music volume could be adjusted for a more comfortable environment. The staff is friendly and seems to enjoy being there, making the atmosphere welcoming. The space is cool and cozy, featuring a funky layout and a wall showcasing an artist's work, which adds to the charm. It is a nice place to work before the start of a busy day, with lots of plugs for laptops. Street parking is available, making it convenient for visitors. While it can get crowded during peak hours, the fair prices and fresh pastries make it a popular choice.
