The service was excellent and the wine divine! The scallop dish my husband ordered was amazing! I ordered the lasagna and it was good but not great. Really needed more sauce. We shared a salad that was delicious also.
Wonderful server! Matthew was attentive, made great and helpful suggestions and added a great element to our dining experience. we ordered focaccia and roasted garlic for the table and the bread serving was really small, and the warm olives were great. Salad was excellent, as was the desserts, but we found the Carbonara pasta wasn't quite cheesy/eggy enough for our taste. Nevertheless we enjoyed dinner and appreciated the excellent service.
Had a great first experience with friends at Spuntino. The staff are all highly experienced, knowledgeable, and attentive. Our visit will be remembered for the high-quality wine selection, the delicious Alce Crudo and warm olives we shared, and, of course, the decadent house-made pasta. I had the special, a cozy and familiar sweet potato and honey tortellini with pecorino. I very much look forward to my next visit.
