We felt that our meal was very good but very expensive. One of our first courses are appetizer was served without bread and we thought it was excessive to have four pieces of bread for nine dollars. We eat out often and travel extensively. We try different restaurants and different price points. We like good restaurants and good food, but it never is fun to feel like you're a little bit ripped off pricewise.

Seems like the best time to go to SJ is Sunday evening early dinner. Not crowded and noisy. Great food & drinks and lots of shareable options.
Our server Nick? was super. He was thorough and has enthusiasm for his job. We loved his recommendations. The food presentation was very attractive and the taste was just as good. The atmosphere was fresh and new and the energy was great. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a more contemporary experience. The hotel itself is impressive and the views are great on the outdoor rooftop patio.

We had a wonderful early evening meal before a concert. We didn't want to eat heavily but wanted to try several dishes. The wait staff was vey helpful in assisting us in selecting dishes we could share. We liked the wood-fired emphasis with several charred items. The pear salad was amazing as was the pork chop. The wine list offers many different wines at different price points. The rooftop location is quite lovely and while we just peeked outside, the views were great and we will build in time for a drink outside next time we visit.

We had the best experience! From service to food...everything was fabulous! We shared the Tomahawk steak with 4 people and 2 sides. Quite possibly the best steak we ever had! We order Brussels sprouts and the sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes were UNREAL!! For desert we shared the Apple Zeppole and the sorbet. We couldn't stop, we were fighting for the last bites. The pear and sour cherry sorbet with garnishes...sealed the deal. Wish we knew the waitress name (she is dating a chef) she gave us EXCEPTIONAL service!! Thank you for a wonderful evening!!!
