I ordered the bento box, the salmon was overcooked and dry. My husband ordered the mixed large tempura and the meal came out about 8 minutes after ours came out. Overall the ambiance and serve was great.
The hostess was very friendly and helpful when we called the day of to modify our reservation. We were seated as soon as we arrived which was great because we were actually early. The service was nice and relaxing which we appreciated- despite it being a Saturday night and the restaurant being packed, we didn't feel like we were rushed through dinner which made for a nice experience. The only issue we had was with the service at times. Our server did not refill our drinks and did not seem to check up on us as often as he should have. Admittedly, we did have a higher standard for the level of service we expected given the high price tag of the food. However, I would argue that the quality of the food justifies the prices. Overall, we had a great experience. Amazingly, Sushi Den has not changed at all and has consistently been an outstanding establishment for over 25 years.
Always a favorite and never disappoints! We let our server pick our menu for us and she did an outstanding job.
Fantastic food. Calamari steak fabulous. Tempura batter is so light and non-greasy. My favorite sushi restaurant.
Hard to believe a landlock sushi restaurant would be just as good as a coastal sushi restaurant but this experience was great. Can't wait to go again.
Absolutely delicious food; the array of fresh fish was quite impressive, the preparation and presentation perfect. It was a special meal and well worth the price.
Thank you so much for the warm welcome from the host staff! We sat at the bar with Nate and tried everything we've been waiting for since we first moved to Denver. Thanks for helping us celebrate our anniversary this week! Definitely will be back!
The place lives up to his reputation being the best sushi place in Denver..... full stop. You walk in and you see a massive sushi staging area with 12 Japanese chefs preparing amazing food - probably a really good sign that it's going to be awesome! The pleasant surprise was the prices weren't out of control, and they have a nice selection of Japanese whiskeys in addition to a good sake selection We drove 45 miles to hit this place and it was worth it
Absolutely fabulous meal! Our server was amazing - kind, attentive and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.
Sushi Den is always far more than going out to eat at a restaurant...truly a culinary experience!

Overall A+++. The sushi matters, and I haven’t had better toro outside of Japan. Great service, well timed, great suggestions from all aspect. Can’t suggest a better experience. Pricey yes, but worth the experience if you can.
It was good, but not the best, maybe Denver's best. It was really hyped up to me so I was expecting it to be some of the best I've had but we were not blown away by anything. It was all good, from the drinks to the service and food but 4.9 is crazy
Loved this. Staff is very friendly and the food excellent.
I have had Sushi at all kinds of restaurants in and out of Colorado and this is by far the best and freshest Sushi you will find. Service is the best and the atmosphere is great! We eat there a couple times a month! Best 🍣 ever.
Not sure how this place racked up almost 5,000 reviews in just a few years. The sushi didn’t live up to the hype for us. My wife and I both felt a bit off after eating — I had a stomachache, and the rolls tasted good but the shishimi it was only okay. For how expensive it was, we expected much better quality. It just didn’t feel like a good value overall. Probably wouldn’t return.
