There is no better place to have sushi. They fly in the freshest fish and everything is impeccable. It is not inexpensive by any means, but if you are ready for the next level sushi, this is the spot.

Now that Sushi Den take reservations it has been a much better experience. The Sushi is wonderful and now the service is back to pre-pandemic level.

The sushi is very good and our personal favorites were the uni and king salmon! The soft shell crab roll and scallop nigiri were also really good.
The seating however really wasn’t good. They pack as many tables and chairs as they can in the restaurant and if you’re in one of the middle tables you’re really cramped - Even the servers were getting frustrated trying to maneuver in between tables. At a couple of points my daughter’s chair was bashed as she was eating…
Our server wasn’t great either and didn’t really take time to promote any of the dishes or explain the process particularly well. For context after we’d been in there a while we heard another server explaining everything clearly to a new table next to us… She was nice, but our experience would have been better if she had mimicked her colleague.

I don’t usually go out of my way for sushi—especially in landlocked states. Unless I’m somewhere like Japan or Hawaii where freshness is a given, I tend to skip sushi altogether. That said, this place completely changed my mind.

I asked our server for her recommendations and every single thing she suggested was an absolute 10/10. The balance of flavors, the textures, the overall execution—everything was just spot on. I’m not typically someone who enjoys straight raw fish, but they absolutely knocked it out of the park here.

This was one of those meals where you keep looking at the next bite thinking, okay, wow… that was better than the last one. I’ll 100% be back, and I’d trust the staff’s recommendations again without hesitation.

Your Neighborhood Hero

Wish I could give more stars than what’s available for the service Brad provided us. Brad was extremely busy taking care of other guests and somehow managed to pay us full attention, patiently listen to us and recommend all of the best dishes to enjoy. His charisma and understanding took the experience at this restaurant over the top and was the perfect cherry on top for our visit to Denver. Not only did we come in as first timers not knowing what we wanted, but we came in close to closing and he took his time with us and made thoughtful recommendations and was extremely kind. One thing that amazed us was how much the staff (including the chef) care about the food they’re serving us. We weren’t the biggest fans of one of the apps we ordered, and Brad sent it back for us, and a group of staff along with the chef solicited constructive criticism, tried the app together and cared enough to make the necessary adjustments for next time. And they served us a great alternative after. Thank you so much Brad, Sushi Den, and staff! We will be back and recommending to everyone

We made reservations to celebrate a birthday. We called at the beginning of the week to inform of my son having a broken leg and needing space for his mobility aide. We were seated at a table in the middle of the crowded bar with one side of our table right next to the main walkway through the bar to the restrooms. We had to put his crutches across the room as there was zero space around out table for them. 2 of the things we ordered they were out of, including the dessert my son chose for his birthday dessert. It was noisy and our table and person sitting on the side of the table next to the walkway were constantly getting bumped. This was not an enjoyable experience for us. They did comp one entree and gave us complimentary ice cream. The value did not meet our experience. We have been here before and will likely opt to try somewhere else next time.
