“Been coming here for close to 10 years. It’s a Denver staple. Dan Dan, Potstickers and Xiao Long Bao are the must haves. If you want to help them and help yourself. Know what you want ahead of time. Make your order quantity worth their while. Don’t be obnoxious. Don’t ask to split your check. Don’t make a big mess. The whole point is to be quick and efficient, as there aren’t many seats and the hours of operation aren’t very long. It’s a small restaurant, with an even smaller staff that are keeping the tradition of Lao Wang alive and well. Have had nothing but positive experiences every time I’ve been there and our visitors from out of town would say the same. We’ll continue to be patrons as long as Lao Wang’s doors are open. Cheers.Edit: I was there when one of the one star reviewers from below wasn’t served for ordering too little. They were a group of 5 or 6 adult men sitting in the only space that can accommodate that many people in the middle of the restaurant as it opened at 6pm on a Saturday night. Momma Lao Wang was kind and was explaining that’s too small of an order especially for their group size. The guys explained they were on a dumpling tasting mission across Denver and didn’t want to increase their order. So the daughter in law came out from the kitchen and explained that it was insulting to Mom and they weren’t going to serve them. So in short. Don’t be these guys. Don’t come in and take up prime real estate in a restaurant that seats 20-25 people and is only open for a couple hours for dinner and try and order two or three items off the menu for your entire group. It was insulting and she was in the right. The table was filled by a family right after you left. And the restaurant was completely full by the time we finished our meal. It’s hysterical that you came on here to give them a 1 star review.“

“When I die...I want to be laid to rest in a coffin full of Anna's Szechuan Braised Beef Noodle....with her potstickers and bao sprinkled on my casket by my loved ones as it's slowly lowered to my final resting place. No kidding...I'm putting it in my will.“

“The stir fried noodles/noodle soup is some of the best in aurora. And the popcorn chicken is incredible as well! Tonight when I went to pick up my order there was an issue with their online ordering system and they gave me a free bubble tea as well! The food is always great and the service is wonderful as well. It’s definitely a hidden gem off Havana.“
