All the food was prepared to perfection, the different meats I had were tender with lots of flavor. I had an enjoyable experience with a very friendly staff.

Good vibes, great decor. The food is mid at best. The red snapper ceviche is bitter it's hard to eat after a few bites (usually I drink all ceviche juice). The braised shank is soft but dry, and is in a sweet mole that does not accentuate its flavor. The corn esquites has so much cheese you can't taste the sweetness of the corn, which doesn't have much to begin with not being very fresh. The infused margarita has too much sugar.

This place was delicious for some good mexican food and well worth the reservation! We enjoyed their margaritas and empanadas before our meals came out. The Happy House menu was solid so make sure you take advantage of that! I can easily say that their enchiladas were great and we loved everything about this place. Wish we had room to give the fajitas a go, but maybe next time!

Disappointing Experience After an Otherwise Enjoyable Evening
We hosted a customer event on the rooftop bar and generally had a pleasant time. However, as we were leaving and made a quick stop at the downstairs restroom, we encountered three mice on the short walk to the men’s room. It was an unfortunate and unsettling end to the evening that raised concerns about cleanliness and facility maintenance.

We hosted a networking luncheon at Tamayo and it was absolutely amazing. I worked with Meg to coordinate everything and she was super responsive and helpful. On the day of the event, the staff was top notch and the food was excellent. We look forward to this event each year and they never disappoint.

We had an 8:30 reservation and our waitress seemed annoyed to have to be working “so late”. She was never around and we had to Flag People down to get our drinks and utensils. The food was good but the attitude from our server made us give this place a low rating.

We booked out the second floor in September for our wedding reception and the experience could not have been more positive. Tamayo's event manager was a delight to work with, incredibly responsive, flexible, and brought a lot of great ideas to the table. We worked together on a layout and the staff set everything up for us, even offering to set up our decorations if we dropped them early. The space was perfect for event and our guests particularly enjoyed the patio and views. The staff working the night of were attentive, kind, and seemed like they were having as much fun as we were! Our guests enjoyed the food and drinks. It was a more smooth process than I could have imagined and I am so happy we picked Tamayo for our event. Thank you, Tamayo!
