My husband and I are huge foodies. We tried this place out for the first time tonight and we were so impressed. Everything from the appetizers to dessert was delicious. We went really hungry so we did order a good amount of food. I loved everything. The sushi and ramen are delicious. The service was great. This is most definitely a new place that we will be regulars at. 10/10 recommend.

Best Tonkatsu ramen I’ve had outside of Tokyo! The gyoza pair nicely, but are greasy for my taste. I wish there was a steamed option!

Very classic Japanese style ramen. The ramen is really amazing. Lots of flavor and everything is a really good price. The sushi here is fresh and delicious with good price. Service staff are nice and easy to talk, really feel like home.

It kills me that I’m not giving it 5 stars because everything was great.. The staff was very nice and always was there asking if we needed anything else. The karaage was nice, crunchy and had a really nice flavor (good dipping sauce). I had soju for the first time here and I absolutely fell in love. The gyudon was was nice and flavorful (needed a tiny bit of soy sauce and it made it very pleasant). The beef was very tender and the ginger gave it really good balance. The one issue I had, which would have made the gyudon phenomenal; was a runny egg. Unfortunately the egg my girlfriend and I got was more on the hard boiled side and it really kind of killed the whole vibe of the dish. Don’t get me wrong, it was still good. Other than that though, I see myself becoming a regular here, its a little pricey but it’s honestly worth it for the portions and what you get. So close to the 5 stars…

I've been coming Tatsu Izakaya for years on special occasions. They always have high-quality sushi and ramen. They food is always fresh and excellent. I tried different sushi and ramen from their menu every time. It always meets my expectations. It is a great place to hang out with your friends. Their service is also amazing!

Good solid ramen here. I liked that the noodles are thicker curly noodles over the thin straight ones. Tonkatsu ramen had a creamy broth that was not too salty which I appreciated. Chashu pieces were a pretty good size, tender and well-flavored. Wished the tonkatsu ramen came with bamboo without having to add it on. I also tried the Tatsu ramen specifically for the chicken yakitori which was quite tasty - the chicken was juicy and not dry at all. Vegetable tempura came out super hot and fresh. Nice breading on the outside with a solid crisp. A really good appetizer to start.

The shrimp yakisoba was good and the green tea delicious. The service was good and swift. This place is ideal for a quick meal prior to an event.

Came here for ramen -broth is very flavorful, noodles were cooked perfectly and the chasu was tasty. Didn't have to wait for a table on Sunday night and the ambience is nice as well. also tried the tempura which was very good

Took my mom and brother to try out Tatsu Izakaya as we like to do sushi lunches every once in a while. Always nice when Yelp gets it right. Wonderful little place with excellent sushi. Very fresh and a decent variety. Actually a little disappointing I didn't bring my daughter as she would've liked the Ramen and the Boba. Couple this with some quick friendly service and you have a five-star establishment.We will definitely be back. Domo Arigato!

The food was delicious! We got the Yaki udon, Katsudon And macaroons. So good, and so many more things we need to go back and try. The staff, especially Shelina, were amazing. We had our 8 week old little girl out with us and they were so accommodating and kind. We will absolutely be back!
