They were busy. I'll give them that. Fish & Chips, meh. The fish was soggy and cold. They waited on the fries I guess but I barely ate a few bites of the three pieces of fish. My wife's veggie burger was at least fresh and homemade. But, as someone else mentioned, it just sort of fell apart trying to eat it. This was at least our 4th visit and definitely not the same experience as the previous 3 visits/meals.
Food is great although I wish they would bring back the chicken pot pie that was wonderful. My all time favorite is the volcano burger it's the bomb!And the soiled dove is fantastic I would walk over some evenings to hear some GREAT JAZZ good musicThe soiled dove is downstairs from the Tavern good food and good music you can't beat that.
this place has gone downhill in a hurry, which is too bad. odd to see only a couple dozen people filling seats on a Saturday night as it used to be difficult to even find a table. but then you look around and see that they've really let the place go (probably through necessity). it's unfortunate.the food and service was still good
