Previously, the worst restaurant I'd ever been to was an Applebees in San Dimas, California, but tonight Ted's in Larimer Square earned the honorsFirst of all, I used to work at Ted's. Not just any Ted's, this Ted's. Back then, it was fantastic. A high end steak house that catered to the business crowd and taught me that grass fed really is different than regular beef. Now, unfortunately, it is just plain garbage.I'd like to give props to our server, Chase, because he was fantastic. Chase, if you see this, run far, far away. You are worth more than this. While the service was impeccable, the food was an absolute disaster. My husband was served onion rings that were so burned, they were a dark brown and tasted of char. I had a salad that was, at best, a grocery store bagged salad mix with avocado and cheddar on top, with salmon. The salmon was served raw. I'm talking sushi level raw (see photo). My husband, who in ten years of being together I have never seen send something back, insisted on saying something because it was a $20 salad. He told our server, who again, we loved, that "my wife's salmon is a bit undercooked", and chase rushed it to the kitchen to be re-cooked. When it returned ten minutes later it had clearly been seared, but the inside was still raw (pictures attached). This place, having always been one of my favorites, has taken a serious downturn. I feel bad for their fabulous waitstaff for having to deal with the backlash the kitchen must surely be dealing them. We spent over $100 on this dinner, and it wasn't just disappointing, it was unsafe. If I had eaten the fish, I surely would have gotten food poisoning. I feel robbed for having spent the money on something so unarguably atrocious, but also feel the need to congratulate them for their victory over the San Dimas Applebees as the worst meal of all time.

The best part of the meal was our server James. He was attentive and worked hard even though Teds was packed. The good: the pickles they give you at the beginning. I believe they're half sour and I could eat them by the jar. They will happily refill them upon request. The bad: while there seemed to be a ton of staff besides the waiters/waitresses none help with simple things like refilling water. In a busy restaurant the waiter should have help.

It was...ok? The service was weird to say the least. We were seated by a waiter who seemed bothered to be helping us at all. Service was not good. Quick check ins with no explanation of the menu. I don't mind being left alone, but our waiter was not friendly. Seemed like he was in a bad mood and jus wanted to get his shift over with. My friend had a steak that was cooked perfectly and I had the salmon. My salmon was over cooked and dry. The sides were good at least. I'm not sure I'd come back.

This was my birthday dinner and the first time ordering at this location. I’ve eaten in the past at the Briargate location. The staff at this Larimer location were the best, at least the guy who handled my order. The guy who took my order, prepped it, made sure everything was there, all my condiments, everything I asked for (including homemade pickles), was outstanding and very friendly and nice. My baked potato was delicious. My steak was good, a little greasy, a little salty, and not tough but not that tender. The salmon (7 ounce) my son ordered was not thoroughly cooked. You could tell it was partly raw in the middle. You could tell it was cooked, but not cooked long enough. Some people may like it that way. We assumed the salmon would be cooked thoroughly. His sides of mashed potatoes and broccoli were good, although the brown gravy was on salty side. The homemade pickles were a little salty. My side salad was spring lettuce and okay. The price was decent in comparison to other steak places. This location has street parking.

I'm not big on bad reviews but I took my daughter to Ted's for dinner and was disappointed. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Thankfully it wasn't too busy. Our waiter was nice. We got our drinks right away but then it took at least 25 minutes to get our food. My daughter ordered the rib eye meal. There was more fat than there was meat. Her mashed potatoes were cold and the gravy was lukewarm. I got the slider meal. I asked for condiments with lettuce and tomato on the side. That never came. My fries were cold. The waiter raved about the house ranch so I asked for that but he never brought any. My sliders looked like the kitchen just slapped some burgers on store bought rolls. Two of the rolls were missing half of the bottom bun. When we told our waiter about the cold food he did bring hot fries and put mashed potatoes on a saucer. Our waiter only came back once to see how our food was. I asked for a drink refill and the waiter quickly brought my tea and left quickly but we never got a refill of waters. It took another 20 minutes to get our bill. Unfortunately it was a very underwhelming experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. I made a reservation in person one month ago for Christmas Eve dinner with my family. I received a text yesterday to confirm the reservation. Showed up and the restaurant is dark. No consideration to those that showed expecting a table. Could not find an open restaurant elsewhere.

Classy establishment, amazing menu choices, and amazing service. Family of 4, three adults and a teenager. I had the Cedar plank Salmon, Parmesan Broccoli, and garlic mashed potatoes, cooked and seasoned to perfection! Daughters had the Delicious Duo with Fries, perfectly cooked and flavorful sliders. My oldest said this was the best burger she has ever eaten, she's a foodie, so trust her! The husband had a Bacon Cheeseburger, zero complaints, it was completely gone by the time I was halfway through my meal. I do eat very slow Keep in mind, we ate about 8:30pm after the Parade of Lights in Downtown Denver and we were seated promptly and they had been busy all night. It was an amazing dinner to cap off a wonderful evening. Will definitely come again!!!

If you want a great Buffalo burg, I suggest you check out Ted Montana's grill. Stopped by for lunch with my girlfriend one day. There weren't too many people but the service was a little slow. Food definitely made up for it though. Love their burgers and the steaks are great as well! I like the booths because they're a little more private and romantical lol

Went on a Sunday evening after a Broncos game and that was a mistake. We had a reservation, but the place was jammed. They were out of many menu items. Our server told us it was his first time working on Sunday and he regretted it - and I don't blame him! We started with caesar salads (they were out of the wedge salad) which was a small pile of lettuce drenched in some dressing. No Parmesan, croutons, etc. For mains the burgers were small and cooked to death. Little flavor and the buns were awful. Fries were soggy. The fish sandwich was ok, but small. I really wanted to like this restaurant but there are just many better options.

I usually don't mind a chain restaurant and have always had good food and service at almost all Ted's I've ever visited. And I've never been yelled at by a server in my life so I needed to give this piece of feedback. We came on a Saturday night pretty early, 5:15 ish and there were a few other people waiting but it was quiet The two hosts seemed extremely confused and disorganized, and pretty rude and unfriendly. We were told we could sit at the bar so we happily sat down there in two open seats next to other patrons. Immediately another waiter came over and actually yelled loudly at us "you're not sitting there!" We said we were told to sit in the open bar seats and asked where we should sit instead. The waiter again yelled at us "you're not sitting there!" So we got up and just left. I have no idea what happened. We were polite and just sitting at two open bar stools next to other patrons who were eating their food. Even they seemed confused that we were getting yelled at. It was frankly a bit embarrassing and I've never been made to feel so humiliated for not doing anything wrong.

Great service by Claudius, Great food. We really enjoyed a sit down booth at this restaurant. Perfect way to end our time in Colorado!

I was able to sit at the bar without a reservation. Food was cold. Bar staff was ok, but no super friendly considering this is a touristic area. Ambiance was average.

We did get right in without a reservation which is why I'll give this place one star. Our server got our order wrong, and the food was not very good. The fries didn't have a great texture, they don't use real cheese on their grilled cheese sandwich, and their prime rib was very fatty. I was disappointed because their prime rib was their special for the night. Our server forgot about us after our food got to us, and we had to track them down for our check. Service wasn't great. Overall it was okay food, with no wait.

Jesse was our waiter he, was so knowledgeable. We were there before six this evening and he gave us the best advice. I had the Delmonico stake with bone and my husband had the short ribs. The food was on point.

I came for the bison and it was delicious! The restaurant's atmosphere was upscale casual. I ordered the Bison Short Ribs with Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Parmesan Broccoli. The ribs fell off the bone! No knife needed! Definitely, get the rib gravy on the mashed potatoes! Other than the broccoli being a tad bit on the lukewarm side (versus hot), my meal was very, very good.
