Another great birthday meal at Avenue Grill. We've been eating here for over 20 years, and there aren't many Denver restaurants that have lasted that long. Always a pleasant experience for dinner, before or after theatre, or weekend brunch.
This place is like a home from home. . Food is great! Bar is a real Bar! Friendly servers and very cozy. We came to Denver from Austria so we know about cozy. It has what we call gemuetlichkeit.

Going to the Avenue Grill is like walking into an old Frank Sinatra movie. I mean come on. The place still has a few Naugahyde upholstered booths. On a nice day the most choice 2-tops are along the expansive north wall of windows. The room itself is kind of contemporary in that there's one big open area with a high ceiling.
