Best breakfast we had in Denver! Great, fresh food! Only thing is we walked in and it took a while to be seated. If you want to skip the line, put your name on the Yelp waitlist online. We ordered the Benedict, scrambled eggs and blueberry pancakes. Pancakes were the best in Denver!

We went to have breakfast during the week (it was not busy at all) but the service was not great. We had to keep waving at our server when we needed something and even when asked for something, it was not brought to me. The green chili and chorizo Benedict was great but they added just a few pieces of potatoes (I feel like the previous time I ordered the same dish had more food). My boyfriend ordered a breakfast quesadilla and it looked cold and not good to be (he said it was alright). The French toast was pretty good. I give it a 3-stars because it was not the best experience as it was the first time on a busier day. *I ordered additional green chili*

This place is incredibly average. The staff was really nice, but they weren’t very attentive. We came in first thing when they opened. We ordered fairly early and our food came out fast. We had taken maybe 7 bites and they already brought us the bill?? It was very confusing. The food wasn’t great. It was edible but nothing special. I would find somewhere else to eat breakfast.

This chain should be called Disappointing Egg. Or Disgusting Egg. (Whatever butters your biscuit.)This is the worst brunch I’ve ever had in Denver, both in taste and overall value. If you want cold eggs, burnt toast, and completely unseasoned food, sure, “Delectable” Egg is your best bet.If you want your food to arrive at your table hot, perfectly timed, and bussin, just save yourself the trouble and go to The Lobby or Snooze. Delectable Egg is gross and the service is poor. Also, during our meal, a server walked over and took a PHOTO of my friend’s half-eaten food out of nowhere? With no context? And then just walked away? Very strange.

My family and I love coming here! We love the food and how great the prices are. We love the homey feel to this place. My only problem are the hosts. Why are they so rude? You can tell they do not like their job. Specifically the girl with glasses (Sadie). You can tell her lack of experience in the service industry. Every time we come in I hope she’s not the one greeting us. The people waiting before us seemed to agree sadly. But overall I do recommend this place!

Tasty and quick! The cappuccino, eggs, hash brown and toast were cooked to perfection. Very good value for money. A few days later it was just as good. The blueberry pancakes and fruit crepe were delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and melted in the mouth. The strawberry and apples in the crepe which were stewed in cinnamon, had just the right balance of tartiness and sweetness. We’re so full that we’re not having lunch today.
I’m a huge fan of good breakfast places and if you’re visiting Denver you absolutely MUST TRY the Delectable Egg in lower downtown near 16th Street Market. Truly the best place for a great breakfast at a fair price. They are a neighborhood icon that’s been serving incredible food for 40 years. Thank you for the experience. OTIS from Woodstock, GA
