First time experience eating here, from the breakfast menu. Both breakfast dishes were good but the lack of decaf coffee was unfortunate. Definitely worth a return trip to try other menu items.
On an urban stroll, The French Press on 12th Street caught my eye. About a dozen people were savoring sandwiches and salads that appeared to be freshly made. I was served a latte in a glass mug.
I'm 84 years old and have lived in Congress Park for 57 years. My wife, also 84, and I have been coming to The French Press a couple of times a month since they opened.
The other day, a young gentleman named William came out to our car to help my wife, who was having trouble getting out. His kindness truly meant a lot to us.
