Everything was good except the way that we started off the night. We were there to celebrate our anniversary, which they did bring us a complementary glass of champagne, which was very nice. As petty as it is, we had three minutes to spare for the happy hour, and by the time the waitress came to us the time had expired. We tried to order a drink at the last minute, but she wouldn't even entertain it. When you're spending $250 on a meal and the weight staff can't...
It seems like their quality is declining. We have frequented here and this latest visit was not up to what we had experienced in the past. Food quality was not nearly as good with some offerings like warm and others average at best. Hopefully this was a one time issue as the past visits have been very good.
New Year's Eve is a tough night to dine out. Our server was gracious and kind and helpful to me and my daughter and her teenage friends. She made our New Year's Eve dinner a pleasure. I had not been to The Kitchen in a few years, and the food was great!
