Visiting from Texas and happened to walk by The Salty. My son was on the hunt for a donut & luckily we stumbled upon The Salty! The service was amazing! The young man at the counter was so kind, we left & my kids couldn’t stop talking about how nice the young man was. Shout out to him! We will definitely be back when we visit again. My son also loved every bite of his donut, it definitely hit the spot.
I give a 10 stars for professionalism and humility to the person managing the front store this afternoon. Thank you, you’re a star!
I now have a new spot to get my cheat day on. Staff was legit, donuts were amazing!!!
The donuts are really good !!!
Skip this mediocre chain and go to one of the half dozen better options on the street for treats and sweets.
The donuts are underwhelming and expensive. $20 bucks for 3 donuts is crazy. The dough itself is dry and toppings are either too sweet or too flavorless. The cheese croissant tastes like an airport.
The service is bizarre and the layout is odd, almost like the designer has never been in a queue before. Worse, their packaging is a waste with their massive boxes whose sole purpose seems just to be marketing.
I've tried a few times and most of the donuts and not once have I enjoyed anything here, I don't get the hype.
Yall missed the mark with the tampa location at: 5808 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33604 This spot has so much potential with that historic house, but right now it falls short. There’s very limited parking, no indoor seating, and the focus is mostly on doughnuts. While they do serve espresso, it’s not really a place to hang out or enjoy a coffee. That’s a missed opportunity. This location could be a goldmine with the right approach. Here’s how: • Repurpose the interior into a cozy, welcoming coffee shop • Add indoor seating, decor, and maybe even a small stage for live music • Expand the back parking lot • Reduce the oversized bakery footprint—it’s taking up valuable square footage • Create an air-conditioned space with strong Wi-Fi for people to work or relax In this area, there are plenty of young professionals who would gladly pay for a great vibe and a quality coffee experience. But right now, the space just isn’t meeting that demand. Make it a place people want to stay—not just stop in.
Such good donuts and very friendly service.
Some of the best donuts I've had 10/10 would recommend
Amazing flavors and customer service here!
Typically the donuts are devine! My most recent order (placed on door dash) was terribly disappointing. I spent $50 on 4 donuts which were ALL stale and dry. It made me think they were day-old or something. I hesitate to order again after that costly let down.

Save your money on their matcha it’s not good. I was excited to try the Bananna cream matcha but it tastes so bad and the banana is non existent and I paid nearly 10 bucks for it🤣🤷♀️
The best banana cold foam matcha I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of similar concoctions.
We stopped by today and we are so happy we did. Service was on point, everyone gave great recommendations on what to try and sent us home with some dog treats for our pups. Delicious food and amazing costumer service.
These are the most delicious doughnuts I've ever had and decked out with yummy toppings, the pastshio with cookie crumbs was my favorite! Great service with a cozy atmosphere. That’s what you’ll get at the The Salty in Hyde Park Village, along with plenty more!
The food is really good and really expensive. Definitely not a place you come to buy a dozen doughnuts for the office - each one is $5 😲
