Everything here is amazing. My favorites are the homemade linguine and eggplant Parmesan.

We had to get in for one last visit before Saucy Noodle is forced to close. It was a little bittersweet but the staff made us feel very welcome and we so enjoyed it. We will miss this gem of Denver and will hope to see a new SN soon. Thanks for all the wonderful times

I realize that this follow-up is automatic from Open Table/Booking but by the time others see it, The Saucy Noodle will have, after many decades, closed. Landlord problems though it's been a long time coming, I just hate to think the day is finally close (August 14, 2022). Since I first moved to Denver in the early 80's, it's always been my go-to traditional Italian and while I might have changed (not necessarily for the better), luckily it has not too much. Sure portions are a bit smaller and you no longer get free breadsticks but the value-for-money is amazing and the food is still plentiful and delicious. Hoping that after a much needed break, they find both the will and the way to open again elsewhere. After all, at one time, there was a second location (where I first discovered them) so why not move to a new, better location and continue to turn out the best of traditional Italian, pizzas included?!

The Saucy Noodle announced the unfortunate news that they're closing on August 14th. This will be a huge loss for great family owned Italian in Denver. We were lucky to get a reservation on Friday night. The restaurant was packed when we arrived for our time slot. We tried to order mozzarella sticks (unfortunately not available) but had the toasted ravioli and baked artichoke. As items we hadn't tried before both were very tasty. The ricotta in the ravioli very tasty and the marinara sauce never disappoints. We both had their dinner salads with homemade ranch (so fire) and split the homemade linguini with a meatball and sausage. Definitely a filling meal and thankful to get to enjoy the Saucy Noodle possibly for the last time. The server Cesar was very busy yet took time to make sure that we got everything we ordered and refill our drinks.

So sad that the Saucy Noodle is closing because the building has been sold. It's been part of our family's Christmas Eve and Father's Day celebrations for many a year. My husband has been coming here since he was a little boy and it was Jim Sanos! If our daughters boyfriends didn't like their meatball double cheese pizza (the meatballs sliced like pepperoni of course), they were out! Thanks to the family and servers over the years for providing a friendly family meeting spot with great customer service and the very best pizza, salad and breadsticks. You will be missed!

We have been coming for 18 years and it is becoming too expensive for average food to keep coming. Pasta with meatball, for example, is now $19-21 and adding a salad is now a higher cost (it used to be included, then a small add-on. Now it is $7). 4 people without beverages was $150. For pasta. This used to be a favorite place. It is falling off our rotation. Even the nice staff can't make this not too expensive.

I've been going to the Saucy Noodle off-and-on for 30+ years and really enjoy their food! The sauce and their meatballs are delicious. Went there last night and walked away a little disappointed in a few things. Ordered a side of the homemade linguini and the pasta was a bit dry and chewy; seemed like it had been sitting out of water for a period. My daughter's meal was luke warm on arrival. They did fix it. And, I'm bummed that side salads no longer are included with meals. Had to order a salad for an extra $8. Also, I don't consider myself a wine expert, but I do enjoy it with Italian food and perhaps this is a little picky, but my glass of wine was served in a small tumbler, not a proper wine glass. Disappointing things for the price paid and the Saucy's longtime reputation and my accompanying expectations.

Great neighborhood restaurant that has stood the test of time and discriminating pallets. Gluten free options are seamlessly integrated...an extreme rarity for Italian fare. Great desserts that compete with the busy ice cream place down the street. We splurged with excellent appetizers and wine but the entrees are very reasonably priced.

This is our absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Denver! I suggest anything with their red sauce - my go-to is the chicken parmigiana. Delicious. Also the cheese bread appetizer. Their house salad with the homemade Gorgonzola dressing is the perfect starter.

Decent food, great service. Could be seasoned more.

Me and my boyfriend stopped by for a meal and the service was amazing. The woman who served us was so kind and the food was authentic and amazing! The red sauce was yummy

Very nice staff. Our server was sweet but never checked on us. Someone dropped off our food and she never even stopped by to ask how everything was. She forgot our bread, left our waters empty. The spaghetti was very dry.

An Italian restaurant should have warm bread and olive oil brought to table along with water in glasses made of glass. The artichoke appetizer and wedge salad were excellent. The spaghetti marinara with hot sauce is great as were the ravioli and meatball. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Italian cuisine. Considering that we are exiting the COVID pandemic, the staff is doing the best they can.

I love the Saucy Noodle. Have been going there for years. This visit was just okay. The noodles were a bit mushy and the meatball seemed to be missing something. Overall though we will continue to visit.
