I have searched high and low for a good donut shop in Colorado. They all suck. They are heavy, greasy, dry or gooey, old and tired...except this one! Fantastic FRESH Old Fashioned donut. Moist and tender crumb, not too heavy. The best donut since moving to Colorado 26 years ago. No donuts sitting until the next day being sold as fresh. No skeevy oil. Clean, cute, good assortment. Today was the third time in the past 3 weeks that I've stopped by this donut shop before noon, only to find it closed. It states on the door that they close at 2 PM. I usually buy two or three dozen donuts for my work crew. Until I can be assured of consistent store hours, I'll buy donuts at a shop over on Lincoln.
