I love this place and have been coming here for a while. I’m writing this review because I’ve come four or five times lately and the service has been bad each time. At times during the day the bar has not been busy at all, long wait to get a drink and rude staff have made this a place I won’t be coming to anymore despite my frequent travel through Union Station. There are better bars just as close and I’m really bummed that the quality of service here seems to have gone down hill. Sadly, I don’t want to get a drink or food here anymore

Lovely place and staff seemed responsive. The music was much too loud for a "brunch" place at 10:30am with 5 people in there, and when I asked her to turn it down a little she reluctantly said "well maybe a little bit" (!) - and if she did, she adjusted it too little to tell the difference. The food was hardly edible: the croissant was dry and stale, the breakfast burritos tough, dry, and slapped naked on a plate. The server removed the uneaten half of the croissant and volunteered that she would remove it from the bill, then she did not... when I reminded her she agreed then she charged me anyway for the half croissant I ate. Bad food, bad service.

Spoke with two employees at this location this morning that were hands down the rudest coffee shop workers I’ve ever met. Got mad at me asking for my croissant to be heated up and apparently it’s a big issue to heat it up if it’s to go. Also was snarky the whole time while ordering and just overall terrible vibes. My friend who’s come to this place for ever since they’ve opened took a cute photo of the place and they got upset with her for taking a picture even though she has forever and loves this place. They said it’s because it’s “their place and they have their own photographers”. Thought that was weird because you are a public shop and who would say no to free marketing! Wack and bad vibes

I’ve been to The Wild a million times and have never had an incident like I did today. The girl with the tattoo behind her ear was so rude to my friend and I. She told us we couldn’t take photos inside or out because it’s “their space” ??? We were going to post on Instagram stories but if you don’t want the exposure then okay. I have never had any employee tell me I couldn’t take photos in there before. What a strange rule? She was snarky, rude and had no manners whatsoever. Needs to be fired immediately and maybe some management needs to reevaluate their “rules”.

Would leave a NO star review. Had my original review removed the day that I posted it. Me and my bf went to study as we usually do and wanted to wait before we ordered our usual, bread and butter with matcha. Once our waiter (balding guy with brown hair and glasses) found out we didn’t want to order right away he gave us attitude and said that it’s rude that we aren’t ordering yet we are using the Wi-Fi. He completely ruined the experience there, we felt so discriminated against and out of place. We kept feeling how uncomfortable it was as that waiter sent another short red head waiter to badger us into ordering something. Then, they would huddle around talk amongst themselves and look over at us. It literally felt like we were being bullied into spending money there, eventually we flagged down a nicer lady waiter to place our order (because we genuinely like snacking on the bread and butter and we were anticipating it). Needless to say we will never be going back which is so disappointing as we both loved to study there. Unless you want to be blasted back into high-school and feel the wrath of bullies who want your lunch money, I recommend you stay away as well.

Yesterday was my first time in! Kara and D’mitri were super welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Lookin’ for a vibe, dope tucked away space with friendly staff and small eats—this is it.

Craft cocktail bar serving house signature and classic cocktails as well as beer and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. Ordered a Bemba Rosa and a Paper Star. Both tasted as good as they looked. Great presentation and flavors. In the evenings they dont have an extensive food menu but rather snacks and cheese and meat selections. We went with “The Board”, which included any 3 meats and or cheeses of choice. At $37 it seemed like a pricey option but it did not disappoint. In fact it once it arrived it seemed well worth the price. Excellent presentation and additional items such as sliced apples, bread, nuts, pickles, and dried fruit were also included. The quantity was perfect for the 2 of us to share.
