Where closing next day had no food left but don't tell you until seated. Call to move reservation back and no one answer multiple times.

Staffing was a bit challenging as there was only one server available ( at least from what I observed).

While enjoying the beautiful Arts District in Denver, we stumbled upon The Woods, a gem located on the 8th floor inside The Source. The panoramic views of the city and the majestic mountains are truly breathtaking. We enjoyed the good food, though the service was a little slow. It seemed they were short-staffed with only one server managing a busy crowd, including a birthday and a wedding celebration.

Just a heads up - plan for extra time if you’re dining here. Last Sunday (6/1) we had a party of seven, so I get that we’re more work, but the place was pretty dead on Sunday morning with maybe six tables and they had a hostess/food runner plus our server.

Our server was really nice and clearly meant well, but man, the service was slow. We finished eating around noon but couldn’t leave until 12:50 because it took forever to get our check. She didn’t really check in to see if we were ready to wrap things up, which would’ve saved everyone time.

The lack of urgency, especially at the end, really put a damper on what could’ve been a great experience. Sweet server, but the pacing needs work.

The rooftop is really nice with a beautiful view of the city and mountains. Perfect for a date night or girls night with a nice backdrop for photos. The drinks are great and the cauliflower appetizer was really good too. Server was quick with service and friendly. Hostess was very unfriendly. Didn’t even say a word to us. She walked over to us and just stared. So we greeted her and asked how she was. No response, just stared. I gave her our reservation name and she grabbed menus and walked away, so we followed her to the table. It was so weird. Normally, that type of behavior would cause us to leave immediately, but we stayed for the view. Luckily, our server made up for the rude welcoming we received and we felt more comfortable after a few minutes.

Disgusting service at a restaurant that has withdrawn funds 3 times from my card. $260+

Great views and drinks. Food was not bad, just kinda plain, and limited brunch options.

The views are great. Service decent. A little more variety would help. Maybe some chilli, more than 1 soup choice a pork chop fish would all round out the menu nicely.

Great atmosphere and great drinks! Could add more array of appetizers place is more of a drinks and sharing apps atmosphere as opposed to sit down dinner. Great staff and views!

I love the Woods. It's got such a cool vibe and the view is one of the best of both the mountains and of downtown. It's a hidden gem in the heart of RiNo that gives you a downtown feel without the downtown chaos. The food is great, can get a little pricey when you are including drinks.

This is a great place to celebrate birthdays, bachelorette parties, Sunny afternoons, date night evenings, etc. However, it is not a huge space for extra large groups. You probably would only want to have a max party of 10. If you have a party more than two or four, you will want to get a reservation ahead of time

Parking: The Source Hotel has a parking garage right underneath it that you can park in, but it is $8 an hour. If you're there for more than a couple of hours it can get expensive really fast. There is street parking but is more challenging to get and a bit more of a walk to the hotel/restaurant.

Food favorites: Korean sweet soy cauliflower, the woods burger, salmon wontons and their seasonal Froze.

Gorgeous venue! I was super late for my reservation but my 2 friends were on time. Service was a bit slow and I missed out on the Burrata Salad while waiting for our server to check in. She also took a cocktail before I was totally finished. It's early in the season and I will come back to check it out again.

Was here for a work function tonight. We were a little sidetracked by conversation, the views and a few drinks. This caused me to miss the 6pm reservation I had. When I approached the staff they were super cool and flexible even though the place was very busy. At one point there was confusion about who had our table due to our mix up and the staff was total pros
They took care of us very quickly and comp’d drinks even though it wasn’t necessary

I didn’t catch the name of our waitress but she deserves recognition and every penny she gets is earned

10/10
