Anybody who doesn’t like this place is most likely a communist and shouldn’t be trusted
The first time I ate here, It was amazing fresh and decent portions for the price. I ordered tonight and spent well over $85 and couldn’t dine in so we took it to go and was disappointed. After spending all this money to eat they shorted us on the portions of the sides, and it seems we also had more meet ( but that’s here nor there). It sucks trying to support good restaurants and they are not consistent with quality and quantity but still jack up prices. If you eat here it’s probably better to eat at the restaurant and not order to go. SHAME!
The birthday cake cookie dough was outstanding! Perfect blend of sweet with a subtle hint of saltiness. Highly recommend!
The shakes were really good! We had a large group & they did a great job getting our large order ready with only 2 people working.
This is a pretty neat place. It's a collection of businesses in a neatly organized way. BBQ, concert venue/bar, t-shirt printer, woodworker, blacksmith, gym, and more. Real eclectic mix. Lots of colors on the buildings help make the space more inviting. Many of the buildings have super high ceilings with very pretty wood trusses; cool architectural feature. There's a parking lot that runs down the middle, in between the rows of businesses, and another lot on the south side.
Good services
This place is comfort, friendly and the food is amazing. The boiled peanuts have a mesquite bbq flavor that make this the top of my list of places to try and love!!!
Much more than you would expect!
Delicious food and great service 1st 2 times 3rd time most of the food was not good and didn't care for the atmosphere. I think IF I EVER decide to go back to this restaurant I will purchase the ribs and potato salad and nothing else since these were the only good items the last time I went to this restaurant.
To clarify - 'The Yard on Santa Fe' is a small group of restaurants, retail, a brewery and a fitness center located on the site of a former lumberyard. The Smokin' Yards BBQ restaurant is also located on the south end with it's own parking lot and it's worthy of your patronage. The only thing better than the BBQ is the awesome waitstaff who truly care about your food and experience.

My brisket was sliced so perfectly it melted in my mouth. I love how they give some of the top cut and bottom plate.
As good as the original location so, the best BBQ in the state. Among top BBQ joints I've found in the country, having traveled extensively throughout Kansas and the Carolinas, the SE and Texas.
The Smoking Hot BBQ was great, reasonably priced and service was friendly and prompt. No wonder it was busy!
