What a wonderful wine bar! Both times that we’ve gone we were helped (graciously) by the owner (Jen) who was attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly. My first time in I didn’t know what to get, but Jen selected a fabulous Pinot Noir that has now become one of my favorites. Our second time in we got a bottle (20% off for happy hour!) and the cheese board which had some of the best cheeses I’ve ever had. This is now going to be our new haunt for great wine and even better vibes.

Vin rouge is one of our favorite pre-dinner spots for a glass or three of wine! Jen has done a wonderful job hand selecting some of the best wines we’ve had! We became members and take advantage of the flight deals every month! The decor is awesome as well with so many plants!

Jen makes you feel like a welcome friend in her chic wine bar, remembering you after a single visit. Her wines are unique, top shelf, & well curated, and she makes a meaningful effort to accommodate all dietary restrictions, sourcing from local food brands whenever possible.
A very cute spot. Uber knowledgable wine steward behind the bar. The cheese board was small in stature, with fun crackers from local proprietor “Flour + Flower.” Would have liked a little more friendly conversation with the wine steward, but oh well. Would I go back? Yes.
It is our absolutely favorite place to go for a glass of wine, and superb chocolates. Such a lovely ambience and decor. And the owner, Jen, personally selects the wines, and could tell you all about them. She even remembers what each of her customers like!
I’ve lived in Denver 5 years now and I can’t believed I JUST NOW found this perfect wine bar. Jenn picks a selection of wines each week to introduce you to wine making around the world. From the ambiance of the space to the incredible attention to each flight picked, I promise you won’t find this level of service anywhere else in Denver. My husband and I really look forward to our date nights at Vin Rouge - half because of the wine selection and half because we love the service that Jenn gives to us, and every guest. I almost don’t want to write a review in case everyone finds out this hidden gem. You’re welcome.

I can't believe it has taken me this long to write a review about my favorite wine bar in Denver, Colorado! We LOVE Vin Rouge Wine Bar & Tasting Room so much that we got engaged there, in fact we live in the area because of the amazing hospitality, our wonderful connection with the owners, and of course, the best tasting wine in town! Make a reservation and you won't be disappointed.

We met friends here for happy hour and were very disappointed. This experience was actually pretty bizarre. Our friends arrived 10 minutes before us and were sat, but had not been given water or had a chance to order. 10+ minutes after we arrived (our friends have now been waiting for 20 minutes) the server (owner? lady with brown hair) finally greeted us and took our order. She went back behind the bar and was chatting for another 10+ minutes and out of frustration my friend went up to the bar and asked for water and it wasn't received well. She then brought the water but not the wine. It was 35+ minutes that we were seated before getting our drinks. This all took so long that she forgot what one of us ordered (a happy hour wine she recommended) and then she tried to charge our friend $19 for the glass and argued that it wasn't on happy hour.
Pros: wine was good, atmosphere was great.
Cons: service was terrible
We all have service industry experience and were shocked that the owner gave us such terrible service. Would highly recommend that you chat less and serve your customers promptly.

Vin Rouge is amazing! My favorite wine bar in the city - unpretentious, good wine, and great vibe. Jen (owner) hand selects the wines and is always there to help you pick what’s right for you. Every one I’ve had has been DELICIOUS. It has a great neighborhood feel and the vibe is so comfortably/homey! Definitely recommend. Also great happy hour!

Excellent wine selection and the owner, Jenn, was pleasant and knowledgeable about her wines. I recommend making reservations if you want to sit on their couch or table since most of their seating is at the bar. Happy hour represents a better value on her wines.
Awesome spot near Tennyson! If you like wine, this is the place to be! Jen, the owner, is friendly and knowledgeable.
