We went for our anniversary just going by the reviews as we are brand new to Colorado. Looking at the menu we felt we were at a fancy place but when the food came out it was very mediocre at best. Everything tasted very bland with no seasoning. Had to share a fork for a while because once food arrived didn't see waitress again for a while. Back door was opened and it was a very windy day so Table was covered in dirt from outside. The girl that took us to our table when we first entered the restaurant might as well worked at hooters with how short her skirt was which felt very out of place at what we thought was supposed to be a fancy place. Can't tell if this is a bar trying to be fancy or a fancy r restaurant trying to be a cool bar.Wouldn't reccomend eating here unless you want over priced bar atmosphere with very blah food.

Love the place; too bad the food is below average. Great history at this location, but the food just doesn’t live up to it

Ambience/vibe of the restaurant was great, but the service was pretty poor. Maybe we just had bad luck with who our waitress was. Sat with empty wine and beer glasses for a while before she finally stopped by to ask if we’d like another round. I had to ask for refills on water. The shishito peppers were just ok… I’ve had way better at less expensive restaurants. The three other people in my party ordered the chicken piccata and pasta specialty dishes. Those were all great, and came out with piping hot plates. (Which makes me think it was sitting under a heat lamp for a while.) But my pizza was pretty cold, and didn’t come with the prosciutto that I asked for on it. The waitress brought me out a bowl of cold prosciutto after I was halfway done with the pizza. I also had to ask three times for red pepper flakes, and by the time she brought them I was done eating. We also had to stack our own dirty dishes from the appetizer, and those weren’t picked up by the time our food was delivered… And they weren’t removed from the table until after we were done eating/paying. So we sat with a bunch of dirty dishes all over the place for a while. I just expected more from this place.

Really disappointed. The appetizer, a lamb bruschetta, was delicious, but the meal went sharply downhill. The porkchop was tough and dry. The strawberry cake & sauce must have been plated in the morning, as both were dry & stuck to the plate.

I was introduced to this restaurant by my cousin and aunt. It was all of our first time eating here. It was selected for the proximity to all of us. The outside and inside of the restaurant looked absolutely beautiful and clean. The employees were all very nice and courteous. Meals were out of this world with presentation and taste. I would definitely love to return to this restaurant and the future when I’m visiting Denver.

This place is now HIGH on my "nice dinner out" places to go. My daughter's school was doing a fundraiser that WPG was participating in where some of the cost of our meal would go to the cause--SO glad we came!! We loved our food--she got a pizza, which sounds boring, but she said it's one of the best she's had; and I got the pork chop; and I have to say (and this sounds like a funny thing to say) it's seriously the best pork chop I've ever had! And it's not like it's a normal 'go to' for me, but it just sounded good and it was really fantastic, the potatoes were great and the vegetables (baby broccoli and asparagus) were cooked perfectly. The service was great, it's a clean place and nice atmosphere.

The WPG always has a lunch menu that pleases. I have my favorites: French Onion Soup, Angus Burger, Lobster Club, Cobb Salad . . . ANY of the pastas . . . . Service is always great, and I've never felt rushed to get out at a certain time. My friends and I always enjoy the atmosphere, our food, and our time to catch up with conversation at The Wash Park Grille.

Wash Park Grille always serves a good meal. Our salads were delicious as were the sweet potato fries. The Reuben was very yummy, but there was a small piece of the meat that was hard to bite through and chew. Definitely a place to which we will return.
