Literally they are called Whiskey Bar. But they don't know anything about it. The atmosphere is loud, but bad. If you actually like whiskey I would suggest you steer clear. If you want to get drunk fast, but also spend a lot then this is your place.

went here on valentine's day to meet up with a friend and I commented on how dead it was. the bartender overheard, got angry and kept saying "then find another bar" and I apologized to him. he wouldn't serve me so we left. it was such a hostile

Down home chill bar with fair prices ?Good place to make friends if you’re new here and it’s not packed full of 20-something year old partiers on the weekends. They have a pool table and a couple arcade games too!Cigar bar next door is 10/10 as well :)

Touted as the “best whiskey bar in Denver” and delivers on all aspects. The bartender, Dave, is a figure in the local whisky business industry and has an encyclopedic knowledge of all 638+ bottles of whiskey in his collection. Leans more toward American whiskeys in bourbon and rye but a great selection of OB scotch as well. Couple of dusties like the Sam Houston pictured.. a really special place for whiskey lovers.Can’t recommend enough.. also great prices with very very limited markup: for reference I had a 1.5 oz pour of RR13 for 27. An absolute steal

The bartender who opened today (with the tongue piercing) is extremely rude. A large group of my friends came to Whiskey Bar today for the Mizzou watch party. When I asked politely to change the MAIN TV to the Mizzou game, he BERATED ME because he wanted to watch hockey and how dare I ask to change a TV (the main one!) away from what he wanted to watch. He was incredibly unpleasant, rude, and completely brought the wrong energy for a watch party. He clearly didn’t want to be there. This is my second unpleasant experience with him, and I will not be coming back. Just completely unacceptable. I have literally never reviewed an establishment before for something like this. Where to begin?! This place is a fkn Denver INSTITUTION. It's so much more than the INSANE whiskey selection. It's impeccable service combined with unpretentiously delivered whiskey knowledge in the chillest spot. Dave has curated a seriously ridic whiskey list over the last 15 years. There's something for everyone - even if you're not into whiskey! Trust me, you'll never have a bad experience here. It's so welcoming. It's legit the only bar I want to hang at. Not sure if they're victims of the neighborhood or just lackluster ownership. Went in for the first time in 4 years and holy smokes ... never again.

Spent an evening hanging out sipping whiskeys and chatting with their buyer. The prices are what you would expect for a whiskey bar located where they are in Denver, but they offer a fantastic selection of scotches and the service was fantastic. They went so far so going down into their store room to pull out a bottle they thought I would especially enjoy based on our discussion.

Visiting from Oregon, completely blown away at the atmosphere and Whiskey/Bourbon knowledge!! We will be back for sure. If you're a bourbon fan and enjoy trying new stuff..... 638 brands are waiting on ya. Cheers ?
