Went in one night 45 min prior to designated closing time—refused to seat us—waitress said they closed early and kitchen not openWe went back a few nights later—only 2 other people in restaurant Same waitress was snippy when we asked about ordering item not seen on menu ( huevos rancheros). Said those could only be served at lunch or breakfast. Walked away and then waved lunch menu showing that item on the lunch menu. We left and will not return. That waitress is not pleasant which is not at all our usual experience at Summit County CO restaurants!
Food was decent and service sub par. Waitress was nice enough but curt. Wanted a little guacamole on the tostados amd were told we needed to order a side of guacamole. Wanted a little more salsa for the chips, that's another $5.
The food was tasteless, staff was rude, waited long time to have orders taken, never came back to see if we needed anything like a refill on drinks. Terribly expensive for the quality of food, Taco Bell has better food. They were not busy 4 tables were occupied when we thought more were coming they told us they do not separate checks and in bowl(sm) of chips and salsa was all we got. It seemed the locals were treated with favor and tourists were not welcome. Waited 20 minutes to pay bill no one came so money was left at table and there was an adjustment on the minimal tip. My daughter said the chimayo was really good. A restaurant behind this place
Mazatlan is the BEST Mexican food in Summit County. The tacos, rice and beans are so good. Sol is the best waitress and always takes care of us.
Very very Rude waitresses, we were 2 families with kids. She was rude to begin with and we were like let’s give her a break. But she went on going , we cannot change the menu ((it clearly says on the menu chicken , beef or shrimp) an we kept on saying no chicken or beef add just shrimp and she is like we cannot change the menus, We tried to replace an order and she is like Really! You are changing the order.Substandard service. We asked for the manager and no body came over. Another waitress came over and while we were talking the rude waitress came over and slammed the bill on the table (there was no remorse on her side) that’s it we walked outEven the couple who came out with us said the same thing rude service and they are not coming back and neither usWry disappointed with the service
The food is a lighter version of american Mexican. We tried a lunch, lingua tacos and found them just right. I would recommend you try the menu.
Was our first time going there and we saw how clean the place was. We dont find many authentic mexican restaurants like this one. Good fresh food. Very good customer service quick and accurate. Overall i would recommend this place ?? ??
Excellent. I ordered the seafood enchiladas and asked recommendation for either seafood cream or green chili. I opted for recommended chili. So good. Salsa and chips were delightfully different. Finished off with perfect flan service was prompt and helpful!
Steak fajitas were mediocre. Service is really bad because they only had a couple people working. Long wait which is ok, but didn't get any refills and the servers never came back. Had to ask for check after waiting another 15 mins.
Walked in and noticed this establishment is very clean, even the bathroom. The staff super friendly and the service exceptional very swift. Food was very delicious well seasoned.
Delicious food, great service and amazing margaritas! My favorite place to eat in Silverthorne! The place is always busy for a reason. Its always clean, the vibes are great, and you will eat until you have a food baby because the food is just so good.
Taco bell which some could compare to cat food is by far wayyyyyyy better than this place. Food is terrible and so is service. If your looking for a nice Mexican place keep looking this is not your spot. Wish we could give negative stars
The service was really bad, the girl was rude and made a face when I was ordering. She did not pay attention to what we requested. My food was salty and my drink tasted like water. For the price not worth it! I came from California to Colorado but this is a place not to got eat or drink! Horrible
Spring skiing, Summit buzzing and surprisingly, we were seated very quickly on a Saturday night at 7pm. We were greeted with a smile from the Host and quick service from our waitress. Love the decor, and the unassuming location....part of a strip mall. BUT don't let that fool you! If you want fresh, not your normal Mexican fare restaurant, this is the place for you. Starting margaritas put huge smiles on our faces, so you know they weren't watered down. The salt on the rim was also sprinkled with a red spice. I don't know what it was, but I do know that I like it! We ordered the seafood enchiladas and the Mazatlan taco salad. This isn't your ordinary taco salad. Think shrimp fajitas, with the perfect cook, seasoning and portion. Each bit was succulent. My husband said that he'd never had so much yummy seafood inside a seafood enchilada, and mind you, he's eaten lots of enchiladas. We were able to see other entrees that people had ordered and all were so beautifully prepared, a feast for the eyes for sure. So think FRESH, Seafood, different from the usual Mexican....then this is the place for you to try!
The best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I live in Texas and I was surprised to find authentic Mexican food in Colorado and especially one that beats every other that I've been to. You will not be disappointed if you come here.
