“The service was amazing. The barista was very sweet and welcoming and gave awesome food recommendations. The ambience was very relaxing, nostalgic you could say. It felt like going into grandmothers house for some sweet ole cookin. We got the avocado toast and the chicken and waffle and both were a 10/10!
Vegetarian options: There are quite a few dishes you can make vegetarian.“
“We took this 1 hour railway to Pikes Peak. Is a lovely train ride up. I am note giving this a better rating but it was TOO CROWDED and the row facing us had 4 people for 2 seats (children on the laps of parents). There is not enough room for this and they should not be allowed to do this. The views were fantastic. Even with mandated masks there were too many people too close together (given covid). Saw arctic gull and mule deer during the ride. Conductor gave us details about the area, train history and the views.“
“This cafe located on pikes peak roll road would probably be your final stop before heading up to the summit. They have this cafe inside inside glen cove lodge adjacent to the gift shop. They sell their “homemade” fudge. I’m not really a fan of. I think it’s so sweet. Anyways this would be a good point to take restroom break and have your refills done prior to heading up. ?“

“Russes was a great stop on our trip. In particular was a bartender Stevo. He was the best. Funny fun. He arranged the whole bar to sing happy birthday to my wife. He was the best.“
