Southern BBQ & Catering is a restaurant known for its terrific BBQ and delicious options like pulled pork, peach cobbler, and chili. They sell food by the pound and only accept cash, but will accommodate customers by holding orders for later payment. The owners are friendly, and the location is convenient with good parking. The sample platter is highly recommended, along with the baby back ribs, which are the best in Montezuma County. The homemade sides and the best BBQ sauce make every meal truly amazing. Steph’s delicious cake and sweet tea taste like you’re in the South again. Visitors from near and far, including Oregon tourists, praise the fantastic grub and pleasant conversation. It’s a lucky pit stop for anyone passing through Dove Creek.
