Animas Chocolate & Coffee Company is amazing. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and high quality. They gave us a sample of their hot chocolate and it was unbelievably good—rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. We picked up a mixed box of truffles and every single one was outstanding. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable, happy to explain flavors and make recommendations. Definitely a must-stop in Durango.
Fantastic choices, menu and candies. The staff are wonderful. They also ship and it always is well packed.
Very busy on NYE day. The atmosphere is very cool. My friend and I stopped here to get some warm drinks. We decided to sit and sip our delectably crafted hot chocolates and then took them to go.
Great little place for warm chocolatey drinks and delicious truffles. We of course went overboard with our box of 25 chocolates but they were all so good and just too hard to choose just a few.
The hot cocoa is the best ever!!
Love getting it whether summer or winter.

This is the only coffee shop that I have ever been to that not only doesn't allow small dogs but doesn't allow service animals!!!!! That's crazy! This day in age? I was blown away by the neanderthal that kicked us out immediately after walking in. Never again!!!

$6.35 for a cortado that was impossibly bitter. Maybe their chocolate makes up for it not knowing how to make coffee. Undrinkable.
A lovely little shop. We entered right at closing and they treated us like we were their first. Offering samples of drinking chocolate and a tour of the delectable sweets. We left with an assortment of chocolates

Best espresso in Durango!!!
What a wonderful Chocolate shop. Edie greeted us within a minute or so of coming in, asked if we'd like some drinking chocolate, we said yes please. The building is beautiful, staff professional and the chocolate is so delicious. We bought truffles and a chocolate bar. We'll be back Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Beautiful sweets in an excellent location. I savored my selections -- all were delicious -- and would certainly visit again. Would like to see more dairy-free dark chocolate.
