Wait staff was very attentive and helpful, providing samples of their drinking chocolate and giving recommendations of drink options. Also would go over all of the chocolates in the shop with you and help you select the best ones. Drinks and chocolates were delicious, and cute seating area to relax with your goodies.

Y’all, we love Animas. We are in Durango twice a year and ALWAYS visit at least once. The people are REALLY great and friendly. The coffee and Chocolate is the best! I always get The Miner. Not just because it’s my last name but because it’s chocolate coffee done right, with a little peppermint!

Great place for coffee, chocolates, and coctails. Coctails come with a chocolate pairing. Their chocolates are the best in Durango. Everyone that works there is super friendly and knowledgeable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Animas! We received excellent service from two wonderful staff (regret that we didn’t catch their names). They helped us select a bottle of Chardonnay and recommended the perfect truffles to pair with it. Definitely worth stopping in and enjoying their handmade treats!

Everything this place does it does well. The chocolate drinks (which include caffeinated options) are rich and delicious, truffles are varied and delicious, and the pastries are packed with flavor. Plus service is top notch
