Tequila's Family Mexican Restaurant in downtown Durango, Colorado, offers large portions of delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine at great prices. Customers appreciate the flavorful food, from the fresh and spicy salsa to the moist and thin pollo asado with pico de gallo and guacamole. The Special dish with tortillas, shrimp, cheese, rice, and beans is a popular choice, as are the best cheese enchiladas that one reviewer has ever had. Visitors have described Tequila's as a consistent and casual favorite in the area, with attentive service and a memorable dining experience. The menu also includes the Burrito of the Sea, packed with fresh seafood, and the spicy cabbage, Chile Rellano, Tacos, and Dos Amigos (Steak & Bacon Wrapped Shrimp), all of which are praised for their excellent taste and value.
