A real gem of a place. There are not many independent, local bakeries to be found at all, let alone one as good as this. This is one of the best.Vegetarian options: There's a veggie sandwich

Bread is a longtime favorite from the time I lived in Durango. Now it's a must-stop whenever I'm visiting or driving through Durango.The breads, sweet treats and granola are superb. The crew is always friendly and helpful, a great benefit with so many choices!

We stopped on our way back to Colorado Springs. The bread was excellent as my wife and I both had sandwiches. I had my sandwich with salami, tomato and cheese on a ciabatta roll and it was to die for. My wife had a turkey sandwich and it was also excellent. If you are close to this place it’s worth stopping for a sandwich. Even if it’s out of your way, it’s worth it.
