we were in town dropping a vehicle off and wanted to eat somewhere we hadn't been. we were seated right away but we waited 30 min to even get water. We were never checked on after we got our food and had to ask for out ticket. wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

It was a quieter place to hang out for beer & some light food while in Durango. Not as busy as all the other places. Our food was good, beer was cold, wait staff was on top of things outdoors where we sat. We watched the rafters go by on the river. Just a cool pretty spot to lounge & one TV outside also.

They are willing to help out and ensure a great experience. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with delicious offerings, including Fish tacos, Chicken salad, Cesar salad, and Ribeye steak and potatoes. On special occasions, they have a prime rib buffet. The location is convenient, inside the Double Tree hotel with plenty of parking. Overall, the Animas River Grille & Lounge provides a wonderful experience with great food and service.
