Fantastic coffee, quiche, sandwiches, pastries, and service. This place is exceptional. The traditional pie crust on the quiche is master pastry chef level. The BLT has so much bacon. It’s a favorite. They also have a large selection of pastries, and all of them are wonderful. I can’t wait to visit Durango again and experience Hermosa Café.
The food quantity I felt is small. The taste was good but the quantity is less. You get a single slice of bread with your choice . Tried green Avacoda - usual taste and sunrise with was different and unique. The staff was super friendly - only reason to go back again. Ambience is good. The plus point is it starts early in the morning. The coffee was regular compared to the competitor next door.
This is exactly the kind of coffee shop/light breakfast/bakery I’m always looking for. Delicious coffee and a variety of quiche options with gf choices and fantastic rustic pastries . Coffee served in mug option for those hanging around. Weirdly it is right next to Durango coffee so options abound for different tastes within a group. Highly recommend.
