We can't have yardsales at our house except once a year so paying $15 for a spot all day here was to talk worth it!
My first time ever to the fairgrounds, and had a lovely time!
The fairgrounds are beautiful and I am just so impressed!
So glad the gem and mineral show was a go. It was an amazing show this year with vendors being able to expand into new areas of the facilities.

La Plata County Fairgrounds is a nice RV park located next to the LA Plata Rec Center, offering 8 or 9 dirt spots with 30 amp and water. Guests can use the Rec center for a fee to access various facilities such as showers, a swimming pool, a hot tub, and a splash pad. Although the maintenance yard is located behind the park and can be noisy at times, it did not bother us during our stay.
The restaurant is also home to a rodeo facility that hosts various rodeo competitions. The rodeo events and honey distillery's bourbon were both excellent, making for a memorable experience.
La Plata County Fairgrounds is located in Durango, a small and friendly town with a lot of great people. It's an ideal location for various events, such as a Celebration of Life.
